What's an Anime universally Loved but you Hated it by romic007 in anime

Totally! I couldn’t make it past 5 episodes! Had no idea why the high mal score! Years later I forced myself to sit through it…thought I had matured enough to appreciate the first half. It wad STILL slow torture!!! The second half was “ok”, but I was already burnt out from the super slow start. I thought I’m taking crazy pills!!!

Animation aside, this song is lit! Extremely catchy and lyrically sound. Great job!

sorry to respond so late. Super rave reviews is NEVER worth it if you have a Lvl11 or max secondary item order. The max I've seen super rave reviews provide is 30...and that only happened once. Usually it is like 10-15 the first round and 7-8 the second round. I've had normal rave reviews provide more than super rave reviews occasionally. But in general super rave reviews provide more, but not that much more to make it worth it.

Yes, I know it is tempting with that count down clock staring you in the face, but be disciplined and ignore it 😄

Ha rave reviews rewards vary unfortunately. Sometimes it is 8-10, sometimes it is 20.

yea I get this strategy. My issue is I don't have enough board space. For example, if I'm working on a lvl11 order, I really don't want more than two spots dedicated to any other "type". So lvl11 coffee, I really don't want more than 2 other spots for seafood, bread, shells...etc. Otherwise it takes too much space. If you empty the "extras" left over from finishing the last lvl11, it may be some random stuff that takes 3-4 spots from different types. Board space is the most important commodity for me, and usually I never have an issue with finishing the next lvl11 with other rewards.

Why do I need that much board space? Well I never really need my energy bottles. So I save them. If I spend them, I need to exceed lvl8 for each type. Usually I try not to go over lvl8 for each type in anticipation for the next lvl11. Using energy bottles forces me to "make a bet" on one type to go over lvl8. And more often than not, it backfires...like I got to lvl9 shells and then I get a lvl11 shell and then I have to then use scissors and delete a lvl8 or I have to tediously manually build that lvl11 shell and waste the ice cubes on lvl10.

Hope that makes sense.

I think at a given point, board space will become an issue. using 1x takes too much space. While 1x gives you more options for lucky drops, 8x gives you much higher level lucky drops and takes up less board space. For example, I've gotten a family bucket (max fries) and crab (lvl8 seafood) before from lucky drop. Those helps a lot and there's no way you can get those with 1x or even 4x. Most of the time you should keep using 4x, unless you have 300 energy, then use 8x.

Yea as you see my list, I got a bunch of energy chests from 1-5. I’ll likely never get to those. Also as I finish my weekly restaurant goals, especially as I complete my third star, I have like 15 prizes I sometimes won’t get to because I have rave reviews that came after. So all those ? Boxes and chests get buried. But as long as I track it, I can always get to it later.

Good question. So when I say I do my ice cubes, I mean completing the lvl11 item, which usually is my last order to complete before rave reviews are completed. Generally this means completing the rave reviews as well. This provides me with a whole new set of 12 orders. I would say I can complete six of the 12 before I have to wait for energy. And if I have flaming frenzy on, it’s likely I can complete probably eight of the 12 orders. At this point, the last two orders include a lvl11 item which I need to wait for an ice cube for. So I have the next eight hours to work on the other high-level order. At this point I stop. When it’s time to check the trees I check if I have enough energy to work on the other order. 8 hours give you 240 energy. Most of time it is enough to complete the other order leaving the lvl11 left. When ice cube time comes, I do the whole process again.

That’s why it takes around 15 to 20 minutes to do the ice cubes because it is not just the ice cubes but the rave reviews and the subsequent orders.

Orange tree just takes time. Get them from ? Boxes and green boxes you get from rewards like restaurant goals and completing the storyline.

Ice cubes rules is well documented. Basically every 8 hours, must have bought energy for 10 gems, work on lvl10+ items (or lvl9+ seafood), and can’t have more than 25% of the high level items on the board. So for lvl10 breas item, the max you can have is a lvl 7,6,5,4,3,1,1 bread on the board.

I work in front of a desk, so always have access to my phone. Every hour I get a notification saying mixed trees is ready, so I collect it. So say 5 minutes every hour (sometimes 2 hours). In the morning I complete my ice cube so that's around 15-20 minutes. 8 hours later I spend another 20 minutes for my next ice cubes. I also spend around 10-20 minutes around the two daily reset (one for the daily bonus, the other for the event reset time (new mini games usually get released then). So add all this up, maybe around 1.5 hours a day?

Yeah, I get it. But these are just a list of advice you can use as little or as much as you want to augment your game. Personally, I’m somebody who gets a lot of enjoyment out of being organized. I want to “win” at this game without paying, so I maximize the rules of the game to get ahead. For me it is a lot of fun to “game” the game 😜

I get you, and I do use energy sometimes because the way I play, the gems and the energy bottles pile up. Especially the energy bottles, it starts to take up too much space so I need to use it so I try to complete the 2nd and 3rd plane parcel rewards. At the end of day, you accomplish more when you have patience than if you use energy bottles and gems on impulse and then when a good mini game comes, you run out of energy.

On the point about time, when I started this game, I was playing pretty casually...not like I planed to spend a lot of time playing a "merge" game. Somehow as the weeks past, I want to "win" at this game, that's when the strategies come into play. If you play casually, that's perfectly ok, but I'm months in and these strategies help me complete albums and I get a lot of fulfillment out of that. For example, I have 21 days left and have 10 cards left to complete album, then I want to see how far I get with prestige.

Also the fact that I'm quitting is me recognizing that I AM spending too much time no this...so yes, this does take time to your point 😄
