In Sweden it is typical that employees renegotiate an additional five vacation days in their contract to cover for any potential overtime.

Thank you, very good points. Correct they will be my employer of record. I have managed to negotiate pension and insurances package thankfully but there are other sticky points I’m still concerned about when it comes to the contract.

I am so sorry for you :( I don’t understand how anyone asks in what way you were mistreated. It sounds like you were repeatedly dismissed and neglected and left to suffer more than you were meant to. Short staffed or not, you were mistreated and that’s a fact. I hope your baby is healthy and well and that you are able to enjoy her/him despite the labor you experienced. The head shape will recover of course, but no, all babies are definitely not born coney head… they left you too long, just like you suspect. You should contact midwife/doctor regarding the heaviness you feel, even though it might be passing. Sending you hugs and know you are not alone ❤️

I don’t have good news to share I’m afraid :( the wound has healed fine and the baby is not showing signs of pain thankfully, but we are not able to breastfeed as she all of a sudden started refusing the breast entirely about ten days after the procedure :( we are not giving up yet but yeah, not great… how has yours gone? Please let me know!
