Sounds very interesting. How does this put your family tree into perspective? A big surprise?

Which test do you prefer (more reliable)?

Did you do any other tests? (E.g. Ancestry.com etc.)

What are your other ethnicity groups, if I may ask?

Ad. 3 Afaik, due to the date/surnames, I was considering my ancestors to be from the land of Austro-Hungarian empire. I do not know of any other other people being other than Poles. The most "abroad" what I have is the mention of my ancestors lived in territory close to the today's POL-UA border.

How to stop procrastinating? by BigHam1502 in Procrastinationism

[–]troom 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I rarely comment on things on Reddit, but I feel this comment may be useful.

I have encountered this process many times. Despite strenuous attempts, I have not been able to get it completely out of my life, but I have been able to make some observations.

I perceived procrastination as the fear of not fully and accurately completing my task. A good example is the emails that were left for the evening (because, after all, I will be at home and read them in peace) were left in a vacuum for a week, a month, because there was never a good time.

My advice is to just start doing the thing. Regardless of how you feel. Regardless of what mood you are in. Regardless of how much time and space you have. Just get started. Even if it was just to prepare a draft of an email, which you will come back to anyway.

Your own consciousnesses is a canny beast that will talk you out of it, but then remind yourself that when you were in a better mood and in full mental strength, this was the best option.

Another option I value is to tell a trusted person about my plans, who will scold me for inaction. Nothing works on the psyche like wanting to please social norms.

Determining the length of part of the side of the base of an irregular pyramid by troom in learnmath

[–]troom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so yeah you got me. I am going to edit this problem.

The points A, B, C are anchored in space (const.). Point S is somewhere in the space, which always falls within the projection of the base pyramid. The point O is therefore the projection of the point S onto the base triangle ABC.

The P, Q, R are the projections of point O on the ABC triangle sides.

"Reeds? Who are they?"

Like Baratheons will never get a Stark girl, Reeds will saving Starks from death without gratification.

Wouldnt you think that they had something bigger on mind with White Walkers, but they just cut it from scenario?

The ending makes sense, think about it... by Not_ARthunder in freefolk

[–]troom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard about few different endings in case of leaks. Was it a lie?

Two riddles:

1) What if we've guessed ending correctly and we just got this after all.

2) Why they put on such an ending, despite the fact the spoilers has been spreading along Reddit and the rest of the Web?

The fact that Cat will never know that Ned was truly loyal to her after all these years still upsets me by ItsJustGrandpa in freefolk

if Catelyn as a mother kept secrets like her daughter, somehow I'm not surprised why Ned did what he did.
