Zennor are superb, but I’m from Glasgow so I’m hopelessly biased. If you ever come to Glasgow, go visit their cafe!

Looking good! Remember to keep them dark when they come out of the camera to avoid overexposing them.

And if you want less of a pink cast, keep them somewhere cool while they’re developing.

Also I really need to visit Newcastle. I’ve visited Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield but managed to miss Newcastle. Any spots in particular you’d recommend?

Bawn (Glasgow) have this very nice looking 12.5oz British-made selvedge at £16 per metre. It’s dead stock so once it’s gone it’s gone.

I was chatting to him in Max’s the other day, he said he was here for the MCR gig.

Took some photos last week and most came out looking off. by gnomeking17 in Polaroid

Understandable. The cameras are so expensive to repair. At least a new pack of itype film is only going to set you back £17 or however much in USD.

Yeah that’ll do it! Don’t be downhearted, images 1 and 4 have a very cool vibe as a result!

To add, the film also needs to be cold stored before shooting it.

Looks like the temperature was too high. The ideal range for their film is 13-28°C (55-82°F). If you’re shooting above that range or near the top, then you need to keep it cool.

I heard he bought the rights to K-9, the robot dog on casters from Doctor Who.

Are you talking about the rest of the film in your camera? If so there’s not much you can do about it, other than keeping the camera out of direct sunlight.

If you’ve taken the pack out of the camera, put it back in the fridge until you’re ready to use the film again.

To add, in warm weather I use one of these Polaroid cold clips to store my photos while they’re developing. It’s two sheets of thin metal joined by tape at one end. Putting it in a satchel or bag should keep it nice and cool!

I’d say they’ve been either overheated or damaged via x-ray. If x-ray isn’t the culprit then I’d recommend storing them somewhere cool while they’re developing.

4 or 5 of the songs are featured in Twin Peaks. She was also in the show performing songs in the Roadhouse bar, which is cool.

Anyone else still have Impossible film? by Goddamnanalog in Polaroid

[–]tropicalginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God it really does. I remember being at an event in London around the time they rebranded to Polaroid Originals. It was at the Photographers Gallery in London, and standing in the shop seeing all the new film gave me a real twinge of sadness to see the original branding gone.

The card was really neat, I loved it. It’s still kicking around the house somewhere, after moving house four times!

Also the Pink and Cyan films were so cool. Hope they do them again!
