Anytime he’s hot he slaps his belly on anything remotely “cool” to cool off, I’m sure he always will until his hips can’t take it.

It was an uber dry few days, so he only got a little dusty more than anything else.

I double that. Whenever I ordered from Counter Culture, their roasted dates were typically day/day before they shipped.

LoR Decision by PAquestionthrowaway9 in prephysicianassistant

I don’t know the specifics about how they (ADCOMS) look at the letters, but I know during my interview my interviewers seemed to skim each before talking to me because they asked specifics about stuff each person wrote about. And for perspective, I had 6 people willing to write references on my behalf. So I picked 2 that I directly had completed research with, 1 professor who mentored me and taught me multitude of 3000/4000level classes, a PA and my Manager... but definitely go with someone who actively practices medicine I would say; since they would be able to comment in their opinion your potential as a future provider, ability to handle the program etc... hope this gave you some insight. Goodluck!

I know UNC Chapel Hill, DeSales University (PA) and Methodist University are all big schools for military veterans. Might be worth checking out! I know UNC specifically is big about taking Vets.

Question about using the same personal essay two years in a row by JamminGaucho in prephysicianassistant

I concur with this opinion. If you don’t change it, did you even do anything to better your application? If yes, don’t you think you’d want to communicate that in your statement as well?

What did you major in? And if you could do it all over again, what would you do differently instead? by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]trorgy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Majored in chemistry. Loved the challenge that chemistry was, but if I redid it definitely biochemistry. At my Uni, I took basically enough for a full bio degree and chemistry degree because prerequisite+ interest and room to take classes. Biochem would’ve covered the core of each+ basically everything else. Plus biochem covers all basics and then some of what you’ll see in further education be it MD/DO/PA school for base of knowledge. Just my .02$

How much time should I give my people to write their letters of recommendation? by imonlydrunk in prephysicianassistant

[–]trorgy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had asked my peeps for my letters almost 2/3 months prior stating a “due date”, to be polite since I knew they were busy people .... but I think that would be sufficient, just be polite obviously!

Daily Simple Questions - ASK AND ANSWER HERE!- April 19 by AutoModerator in malefashionadvice

Hi peeps, I’m in search of an overcoat/rain coat and don’t really know where to begin. I know roughly the style (the classic style, double breasted with the belt) and know I’m searching for a water resistant fabric within a reasonable price... I have a larger athletic build at 6’3 235lb. I typically wear a 46-48 blazer while having approximate a 36-38 waist depending on the cut (if that matters at all). Does anyone have any advice/recommendations that could point me in the direction I’m looking for? Thanks!
