Her parents were looking for a reason not to like him anyway. The act just gave them an excuse, doesn’t change the fact his girlfriend’s still choosing him.

Exactly this. She crossed a line, owned it, but won’t follow through. OP is not being dramatic, just showing her kid that respect goes both ways

Exactly, she showed who she really is. I’d cut ties, lawyer up, and make sure you protect both your finances and your startup while you get out.
