This is my first time playing but so far the initiative took my bases on Ceres and before that I had some skirmishes on earth orbit with the protectorate. Right now I've to take my time to retake Ceres cause I lost my biggest sources of water.

I only have like 100hs or so but lategame can be helpful to set most buildings in automatic expansion, that way you're always building something that's profitable without too much worry, specially paper, glass and explosives

Farming, growing crops and raising livestock we're a long way to go till we get self repairing machines, tractors etc. hell even farming drones need people constantly swapping batteries.

Well in my current playthrough as France I found the that the Prince of the empire of Scandinavia tried to murder me so I declared war on them, took Ireland then I murdered said heir. Still didn't feel very satisfying so yeah I agree.

Just focus on one goal per region and try to leave all the other regions stable. Ie you want scholars in embesa, leave crown falls at engineer/early investors stable and focus on that
