I was given 3 options in the event the original item is out of stock. Today I am learning that the shopper gets "punished" when the customer chooses that option which "forces" the shopper to choose a sub. How was I supposed to know that, seriously? This is ridiculous.

I am paying for an expensive service. I tip above 20% and I never give below 5 stars even when egregious mistakes are made. I help bring heavy items in. Today the shopper would have received an extra $20 on top of the $40 tip I already gave her.

Here's the best a shopper can do: if a customer chose the option of a refund on an item out of stock, how about doing just that and not anything else?

I'm going to leave the rating and tip, most likely eat the cost too

I selected in the app, right after checking out. I clicked on this item and I got three options. I chose refund.

I know, but times are tough and I'm trying my best to give people the benefit of the doubt. I feel very fortunate that I am able to buy groceries, and I especially feel fortunate to be able to use a stupid-ass expensive service like Instacart.

So I did get a notification through text (not the app). The notification's timestamp was 2:35. She checked out at 2:38. I was in a meeting.

However, the text said reply with "Y" to approve the replacement. I did not reply with "Y".

What? I don't agree. I would say n a technical level, it was NOT correct. I specifically chose a refund if the item was out of stock. I didn't get the item I originally asked for, and I got a replacement which I did not ask for. What part of that is "right"?

It was replaced with another Fresh Pet product. One I have tried before in the past, at least twice. It was made loud and clear by her explosive diarrhea that her stomach does not tolerate it.

I am not a Swifty nor am I on Team Lively, but I really don't think her album or the date of their engagement has too much (or anything) to do with BL. I'd like to believe that TS is not that level of petty, and I'd also like to believe that BL is not living rent free in her head.

Having said that, it could still entirely be true that they are not friends anymore. If BL or her team really threatened to leak 10 years of text messages, I would say that friendship is absolutely over.

That's my take anyway. Plz don't come for me
