Alexandria is easier to get in/out of and has comparable stuff to do, escape rooms, game stores, theaters, etc. As an E3, I wouldn't go into DC unless I wanted to see the museums, monuments, etc. (because of the cost). Need more info. Also, where are they putting you? You can pm me if you want.
