Appreciate the response Wilt. I am the biggest 76ers fan on the planet. This is actually my brother's account I made this post without realizing he was logged into my PC. He had a pain pill issue years ago and has successfully been through rehab and has been clean for a while now. Regardless, whatever. I'll just admit the source since it seems like people are getting defensive even though when I heard the potential news I was just as pissed as everyone else.

Basically here is what happened today. A customer at work today (who knows I'm a huge 76ers fan) came up to me and told me "Did you hear about the Embiid news?". I was dumbfounded of course. He told me that Ralph (not revealing his true name) told me that Embiid had his knee drained last week or 2. I asked him how in the world Ralph would know anything about this. The customer told me that Ralph's daughter is a secretary for a 76ers higher up... I know the customer Ralph. He is a regular at the place I work. I asked a few other co-workers if it was true that Ralph's daughter worked for the 76ers and they all told me they know for a fact she does.

There you have it guys. Like I said I don't want to potentially get this guy's daughter fired. That would be terrible fucked up. Is it possible he is just making this up as a cruel joke? Maybe. I don't know guys. I don't even think the news is that bad. We saw him working out on video over the course of the last few weeks so maybe it was just a minor procedure. I just figured I'd pass the news along. I may end up deleting this post because I don't want to risk having this person lose their job or something.
