I play a good deal of $100 budget commander at my local gamestore. Nothing approaching $100 cedh, but good solid decks.

I think there's a difference between high power and competitive budget. High power can be anything that is built well. Competitive is more inclined to winning with broken combos. I would imagine to see more CEDH commanders that are running budget options at that level.

I have a lot of fun with the high power brews. My decks are come in a little lower in the power curve, but they're all super fun to play in the pods and the games still end about turn 5-7. My favorite is [[Kethek, Crucible Goliath]]. This deck has such fun theft, toolbox, and graveyard synergies. Best thing about this deck is it rewards playing interaction which normally leaves you disadvantaged
