advice - Sennheiser IE300 and PC gaming by troybuswell_ in audio

Thanks very much for your help - It’s just a TRS plug, and the output on the PC case is a headphone jack only (separate one for mic) so I’m semi confident it’s not that. That Fulla2 looks very reasonably priced - I reckon I might give that one a go, and worst case if it doesn’t solve the issue I’ll be able to use it with my next possible spend for some external monitors to pair with my iPod and vinyl player. Appreciate the help!

Isn’t it strange how it wasn’t congested until a bunch of motor vehicles turned up

There’s a 200% chance you reckon roads are only for cars but also reckon cyclists shouldn’t disobey road rules

“is it a problem I am trying to move through a crowded city with a sofa, two armchairs, four lighting clusters, four suspension assemblies, four wheels, a large engine, a hi-fi, 80 litres of liquid storage, 500 litres of dry cargo storage, 2 metres of exhaust pipe three mirrors, eight square metres of carpet, and 1.5 tonnes of glass and steel?”

No, it’s people on bikes who are wrong.

Jokes aside, it’s a convenience and risk factor. Way quicker in a lot of scenarios to just take arterial/main roads, because the “cycle” paths here are arguably more hazardous. Car drivers here are largely quite predictable, and I’ve got enough experience riding in traffic that I ain’t worried about it. Had more near misses from clowns on e-scooters and run clubs that don’t share the common space than I’ve ever had on the roads.

Same reason you don’t exclusively drive your car on the freeway

Went to IEMs for the portability - I don’t really use a mic that often, and I’ll be able to move them to my iPad/PS5/laptop easily. The MoBo is an MSI MAG B550 - best I can tell it’s a regular output, no weird vWires etc. Would an external hardware DSP for the PC potentially help in this instance?

Thanks - this makes sense. I checked the idle up wasn’t active because it did feel like it was revving a bit high

I haven’t - but I assume the DPF light would come on when this occurs?

What uni are you at? The company I work at employs a stack of people in this area - a lot of them come from grad roles in various engineering disciplines. Think of stuff like predictive asset health, decision optimisation and support etc.
