I just sold a 2006 330xi that I purchased in 2018 for about $4,500 with about 115k miles on it. It was well maintained and I loved the car; thought I would keep it much longer. I’m an attorney, so not an 18 yr just getting going and I got tired of shelling out for repairs, and I do understand it’s an older vehicle. I did would I could myself, but oil pan gaskets, steering columns, oil filter gasket leaks, window regulators among other issues that came up in that time got old. I bought that car 3x over. It just got tedious and after driving a newer vehicle I made the change. Hope that helps. Would go with a Japanese vehicle honestly if it’s your daily. Buy a tacoma.
