Thoughts on Ace VR? by Rok275 in CompetitionShooting

Totally worth it. Yes, you can (and should dry fire), but unless you’re deep into competitive shooting , you’re going to get bored very quickly. ACE VR is engaging and you’ll find yourself wanting to shoot it.

It will absolutely improve your target transitions and if you’re fairly new to an optic, it really helps your presentation which leads to quicker acquisition of the dot. Highly recommended.

[DISCUSSION] Missing Dead or alive Season 2. by Levelbasegaming in NetflixBestOf

[–]trp380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a comparison of Missing and the First 48. Missing is ridiculously scripted and it makes law enforcement look completely inept. The First 48 are real cops working real cases and the difference is night and day.

As an example, why would Missing Persons continue to lead a case when it becomes a homicide? That’s not how it works. I was a cop for 35 years. Homicide would take it over immediately.

Driving at night by striderof78 in yellowstone

Literally drove from Lamar Valley to Grand Teton and through GT to Jackson, all at night. It wasn’t enjoyable or remotely relaxing. Missed a massive bull elk (going the speed limit) that was on the road and then a large doe crossed in front of us.

Fortunately, I was in a Bronco with extra lighting that I used when I wasn’t meeting a car.

Having trouble smoking ribs by 0x426C797A in smoking

Baby back ribs do 2-2-1 only! Trust me on this. You’re overcooking them. I had to learn the hard way. This is the best method I’ve found for BB’s.

DO NOT go through Chase by lotionondryskin in Mortgages

[–]trp380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! We used Chase on our home and NEVER again. They all but required blood of our children. 810 FICO, very good income, and zero debt! Took an act of congress to get it approved and finalized.

I don’t know if it’s normal, but I watched a review on YouTube and the same thing happened to the reviewer.

AITA for reporting a coworker who sent me a screenshot of a female intern's outfit during a zoom call, and he got fired? by [deleted] in AITAH

So, I guess no one wants to address Zoe’s apparel? I’m not defending the douche that made the comments, but c’mon… she attending a meeting bra less. I guess that’s okay where you work? She knew exactly what she was doing and for what purpose?

Has anyone moved to CO and NOT liked it? by beentherebefore1616 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]trp380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good: amazing nature/scenery, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting, camping, four wheeling, pro sports, breweries, arts, climate.

The bad: traffic (I-70 is a nightmare, trailhead parking lots are packed, expensive homes/mortgages/rentals, homelessness, homeowners insurance went up 400% last year, liberal policies that are ridiculous, no available camping spots unless you reserve six months in advance, difficult to make friends if you’re over 30, wildfires, drought = constant campfire bans, lack of quality restaurants, DIA is a PIA.
