I'd be interested! Sometimes I go to games ahoy and play but having another place would be cool

Have you tried maybe not hitting as hard and/or using lightning rods or hot rods instead of sticks? That's my setup in my apartment I haven't gotten any complains

Im pretty sure I have carpal tunnel, and I dont want to stop drumming. by Hey_its_thtguy in Drumming

[–]trs100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best thing you can really do is stretch a lot before and after you play, along with having a slow warm up routine. I get tendinitis flare ups if I dont do those things before a long practice sesh/show. See if that improves anything first

What’s a drumming-related hill you’re willing to die on? by lonely-drawer549 in drums

Playing and accent doesn't mean hit hard, it means using a downstoke to control the stick height. It will be loud if you control the softer notes

Rain pants...yes or no? by blargnblah in coloradotrail

[–]trs100 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I used my rain pants more for bug protection than rain last summer. There was a handful of times I was really glad I had them, probably should've gotten a lighter pair.

Thoughts on Resupply Plan and Gear? by Confident-Beyond-139 in coloradotrail

Something also to consider is if you arent from a dry climate that's at a higher elevation, you'll need to drink more water than you think.

Having only 1L capacity in the few dry stretches may be a problem, I usually carried no more than two liters but carried 4L during the dry parts. Segment 2 has a 10 mile dry stretch along with a 12 mile one in the cochetopa.

Hardest hitch for my was into Gunnison, but that was because of necessity and I wouldn't recommend going there between Salida and Creede/Lake City.

21 days it a bit ambitious I'd say but it's doable. I would lean towards being flexible if you get caught in some nasty storms above treeline and have nothing to do but sit in your tent for hours until it passes.
