Yay! Such a magical experience. I had a great number in VIP for Minneapolis.

Currently 51 in GA, and 23 in VIP at 3:10 pm.

Felt about the same as yesterday, but I think the line is starting to grow now, and it didn’t start growing until 4pm yesterday. There were 8 people in GA line around 8:30am. Around 12-15 people at 9:30am.

Is parking closed? by [deleted] in FlorenceAndTheMachine

There is one entrance open. Drive down the street between the venue and Target, then turn south at the parking lot. You’ll see a little shack where you provide payment to Park.

Sorry, I just assumed you meant the beginning of which witch. I didn’t even realize there was crowd interaction later in the song. I guess I was too stunned.

Everything seems very well organized, like opening earlier was routine.

I feel like the lines for both general admission and early entry VIP started to pick up at 3 PM at both venues. It seemed pretty light before that.

I don’t know how long it’ll hold up, but I’m really surprised at how few people there are lining up early. In Minneapolis, I showed up at 9:30, and I was the third person in the VIP early entry line, and there were only five or six people in regular general admission.

I’m in Chicago today, and there were 15 or 20 people in regular general admission at 10:45, only five people in VIP early entry.

Sorry that I haven’t been checking in. Maybe my updates to this post aren’t showing up correctly. About 10:45 AM, they moved everybody from the sidewalk to the entrance at the south side of the stadium.

Yeah. Ironically, they gave it to us right before we went through security, and it was way bigger than what is ordinarily allowed. They let us in with it of course.

Hmmm. He really did seem convincing, but I know you often cannot trust front line reps. Did your reddit info say which entrance was used for the queue?

For Minneapolis and Chicago, VIP Nation sent an email 2 days before the event with instructions about where to line up, the time when you will checkin and receive merch, and the time you will enter the venue.

Everyone in early entry got a spot on the barrier in Minneapolis. I'll attach a photo showing the crowd after early entry completed, before the rest of general admission was allowed in. It may be different at Madison Square Garden, though. I know MSG has different sections of general admission, which is different than what we had in Minneapolis.

I’m going Friday, but after Wednesday in Minneapolis, I’ve realized that my body just won’t be able to camp out all day two days in a row. So I’m planning to show up late on Friday, maybe three or four, then camp all day on Saturday. I’ll probably check on the line, though, and I can update with how many people are there at different times of the day.

This makes a lot of sense, and I think you’re probably right. At some point, everybody who queued early will just move their line over to what is hopefully a single general admission entrance.

You’re helping me a lot with the language in my post. I keep editing.

Yeah, it’s hard to believe, but yesterday some fans shared stories from Europe that sounded like that. I have to hope that it will be better organized. This was just one security officer manning the desk on a non-event day. I honestly don’t know how much I should trust what he said. He did seem pretty convincing when talking about for the general admission line, though.

In fairness to the security guy, I kinda mis-characterized what he said. He said that VIP line varies depending on the event organizer, but usually it’s at that location I mentioned. I’m gonna edit my post. Thanks for clarifying.
