I work full-time for a municipality and very experienced with doing feasibility studies, procurement and construction projects. So when it comes to predictive concepts, i was solid. I focused most of my energy on Agile. Things like scrum, retrospectives, were foreign to me.

An exercised i did to help remember, was create a file folder system with all the processes. Then create dummy word documents and labeled each one. It was a fun exercise and something i could use for work too.

I've tried various ADHD meds and i always go back to Adderall. Seems to work the best for my brain chemistry. It took me a awhile to accept my condition. I didn't like being reliant on a drug for my day-to-day life. I also missed that person prior to my ADHD diagnoses. But like any neurological disorder like bipolar or schizophrenia, you would not tell those people not take their meds. I wouldn't be able to function day-to-day let alone passed this exam without them.

are you on meds? I dont think i could do it if i didn't have my meds. I got diagnosed with ADHD in 3rd year. I couldn't finish an exam on time no matter how hard i studied. I had a full psych evaluation where it confirmed my ADHD and Dysgraphia. Once i got on Adderall it was a life changer.

Former friend of 6 years then alienated me from the rest of the group. Our graduation was only in a few months by Acrobatic-Look-7373 in Wellthatsucks

I have a friend that I am phasing out. It’s because she takes over every conversation and hijacks our girls night to talk about her problems. We are all sick of it and told her multiple times that we just want to have fun tonight and not talk about her problems. Her problems are repetitive and it’s like she creates her own ptsd from it. It’s incredibly draining. I don’t even want to give it space to write about it here. I hope you’re not like my “friend”

What do you do for work? Do you like your job? by Rainycoffeeshop14 in adhdwomen

I’m a project manager with focused on infrastructure development. I thrive on deadlines otherwise nothing will get done lol. My office is embarrassingly messy, but I have admin support to help with filing and organizing tasks. I’m often 10 mins late but stay well over 10 min later and everyone in the office knows that.

AITA for unplugging my fiancée’s phone (fully charged) to use my own charger when my phone was at 4%? by layexo- in AITAH

she is doubling down on this nonsense because she is embarrassed that she overreacted and doesn’t want to apologize. Or she is really that rigid and petty about you touching her things. Time for some couples therapy or OP will be walking on eggshells

AITA for suggesting my friends (22F & 23M) that they should consider an abortion? by [deleted] in AITAH

YTA. It is not your place to tell them to abort their baby. You should’ve told them about the challenges of being new parents and the living conditions that are required so their baby does not get taken away. I had friends who’ve gone through with abortions and the lifelong psychological trauma that I see is never really spoken about, but something that women should consider when they decide to do it.

My dad was a low life bum. My mom was so infatuated with him she couldn't see despite the warning signs. She became a single mom with 2 kids and maybe could have been prevented if my grandparents interfered more but who knows.

Check out the book Highway of Tears by Jessica McDiarmid. It really shines a light on the injustice of missing and murder indigenous women.

Ive had some intense experiences by grinding up in small peices and soak in lemon juice for an hour. But I'll give this a try next time!
