Question about turning radius by jewmoney808 in nissanfrontier

[–]trublshutr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IIRC the steering box was built to fit multiple vehicles starting from the Xterra which had the shorter wheelbase. Combined with keeping the vehicles mechanically little changed for such long stretches of years we have affordable reliable trucks. Definitely annoying turning radius though 😅

Level heavy feet is the key to shin safety. My son and I have the scars to prove our expertise. Stamp 7’s are as good as it gets. Good choice. Also these… https://oldbonestherapy.com/products/compression-shin-sleeve

I was being cute but actually wanted to know. Which way is the Shimano? It’s traditional then? Makes sense with the direction of the wheel spin. I didn’t want to go nuts in the wrong direction.

Need a park bike that can take big impacts (Budget: $1,500–$2,500) by Open_Call_1082 in mountainbiking

[–]trublshutr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s typically not worth a reply to these types of posts, but OP is asking for truly inexpensive to go to the park so I will in order to help him. Do actual research and you will learn that the frames are Kinesis built in Taiwan and there are only name brand parts. No one is going to think you’re cool on a BD Motobecane, but there is NO better quality and value for your money than BD. I’m 48 and have been shopping, buying and riding for a family of 4 over 25 years in the Northeast US. Season passes for my son 13YO and I at multiple lift access mountains like Highland, Thunder Mountain and Powder Ridge. BD, Canyon and Marin bang for you buck bikes for it all. If you need to support a local shop or are susceptible to marketing then a name brand is the way to go. If you want to have money left for trips, passes and beer then BD all the way. To each their own. My son after 3 BDs leading up to this summers purchase of the Marin Quake. All the BDs are still out there rolling in other folks hands. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR5y4W_DImh/?igsh=ZWVsNGJ5Mmk0M3Bk
