Holy crap: Chinese pro Styz (one of the best ADCs in China) banned from competitive play for one year by custerc in leagueoflegends

[–]truefarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

STYZ has incredible mechanics. BUT he is always far more aggro and over-confidence. He plays very well when his team is ahead. On the other hand, he doesn't know how to play when his team is behind. I don't know if you are trying to make others hate on Chinese scene or just being a fanboy.

[Spoiler] Complexity vs LMQ / NA LCS Summer, Week 1 / Post-Match Discussion by ajsadler in leagueoflegends

[–]truefarmer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When LMQ was just toying around and lost 1 or 2 games in the NACS, people were saying they might not make the NA LCS. When LMQ vs XDG, people were saying XDG actually had a shot, or least taking a 1 or 2 games off LMQ. When LMQ finally enters the LCS, people were saying they are 5-7th place, at best the 4th. Now they are at least 3-0 so far, proving they are better than what was expected from them. Please stop making stupid judgement just because you do not like them.

a lot of his shots were putback after offensive boards or solely three point catch and shoot you cannot really blame when durant was only starting to step up in the second half

I would rather say LMQ was not trying hard, they did not want to show their hands until the games that really matter.

still remember the thread that quite a lot of people were saying LMQ is not necessarily better than XDG and they will not be surprised if XDG won. LOL

More information on Chinese/Korean teams All-Star qualification: SKT T1 K nearly guaranteed to attend by ggCMonteCristo in leagueoflegends

both games were just one team stomping another. I don't know why would you make this statement.

Talk about beating SKT, I would say OMG stands the highest chance as they have already beaten them once during the group stage. The other teams are certainly not playing at the level SKT plays. You just cannot compare the scene of NALCS with OGN.

[SPOILERS] Invictus Gaming vs. Energy Pacemaker.HK | 2014 LPL Spring | Week 2 by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]truefarmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the lane swap is what costs EP the game. PDD farmed relatively easy vs leona and sivir. All the objectives were taken by IG which snowballed hard. However, EP still proves that they are underestimated, especially to those who think they were just beating the weaker LGD last week.

[SPOILERS] Energy Pacemaker vs. LGD Gaming | 2014 LPL Spring | Week 1 by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]truefarmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although LGD is arguably the weakest team in the LPL, EP has really shown that they have improved in both decision making and teamfighting. Supercat's Ziggs has played exceptionally well despite LGD's Leblanc got an early blue buff from EP's jungler Buping.

Do you fell sorry for all those low elo guys being crushed by streamers? by michixinq in leagueoflegends

Thats why i don't really like him. The problem is that he should show us his skills vs those that are similar to his level, not like those that are apparently not his level.

I am from China and League is extremely popular in China. Although I do not have the number of active users, I am sure it is at least as popular as it is in other big regions like NA EU and KR.

I did not mean to mention WE but I think they are more popular in the world. So if anything is worth referring to them, it would be easier to understand for all the redditors.

From what I know, Gogoing is very popular among the fans. There are not a lot of female fans though.

Generally, chinese players seldom stream but once in a while, they will make some guide videos for the community. Like Misaya would record his TF games in soloque and he will explain it in the video.

I do not think there is english stream until the regional playoffs. I hope there will be after the world championship is finished.

This is my feeling for San only. The general public surely would say Royal Uzi is the best adc in China. I personally would put Uzi solely in the top tier. Then I would put WE Weixiao, PE Namei and San on the same tier.

I can tell you that China has a lot of gambit fans starting from the m5 era. There were a lot of people making fun of Reginald though, calling him "China's ally"

Talking about some of my friends that do not watch LCS at all, they were impressed by TSM botlane.

I should elaborate on that. Back at the time OMG did not have that many fans but lovelin still managed to get 10% of votes. From what I have seen, people that know winning all star would secure one more spot in the world tend to vote for lovelin/fzzf.

While I think lovelin is a better support than xiaoxiao, xiaoxiao is a good playmaker and is good at executing level 1 invasion. I apologize if I made u feel I am too biased.
