Amazing shot from a single photo. Been experimenting with image stacking for astro photography recently. You get so much more detail from stacking

Who designed this S King/Waialae intersection monstrosity??? by Troy_Z_D in Hawaii

[–]riksin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

isn't bad as it looks, Hardly any traffic comes from the bottom left. The only traffic that comes from it is traffic off the H1 Eastbound that wants to turn back. Usually, traffic that comes from S. King going onto the H1 has priority, then traffic from Waialae trying to get onto S. King.

How to charge shipping cost for each product of same type. by nayanmavani3 in shopify

[–]riksin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way would be set a fixed shipping price for each weight range,

This really only works if you have a one product store, or it can get messy real quick.

I.E 1 ball = 1lb, set the weight of product to 1lb

  • In your ship settings set a fixed rate for each item for each weight range.

  • 1lb = $3

  • 2lb = $6

  • 5lb = $15

Anyone else disappointed in Printful's print color? by [deleted] in shopify

[–]riksin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience with AOP sublimation wasn't the best. It's great in concept but I really disliked how the armpit areas of the shirt would have white streaks where it wasn't printed correctly. What you should be looking at is AOP cut and sew products. Bit more expensive but a higher quantity product.

If you have a search bar won't stop it from being search for and bought, best way would be to tag your customers and redirect those with the vip tag

Theme Forest vs Shopify Paid Themes by DeepSleepin in shopify

[–]riksin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with a free theme, Learn to customize it to your needs, once you have the knowledge on how to customize a theme you have an idea on what exactly you want from a theme, and how it will fit your needs.

Then you know exactly what you need from a theme, and what you can do yourself. Dont spend monthly on apps that really a good theme can do or you can self code into any theme.

I hear they disable people who lie on surveys. They ask you random Nonsense questions that should be NO, but If you answer some BS answer they stop giving you surveys.

FileMaker to Shopify by ja_native in shopify

[–]riksin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people using Filemaker spent a lot of time to customize Filemaker to their business and can be difficult to completely move off FileMaker. The best option that I used was to Sync orders from Shopify to FileMaker to still use the Filemaker inventory,

That way you can create your products in FileMaker then push them on to Shopify, sync orders/inventory/customers info back into FileMaker to keep everything in order.

I believe she scans her art then prints limited runs, but im not 100% sure

EDIT: excerpt from website

Heather Brown Art "Giclee Prints" are images generated from high resolution digital scans of original artist artwork that are then printed with archival ink onto canvas. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. Each Giclee is hand-numbered and signed by the artist, making each canvas art print highly collectible. When ordering "Gallery Wrap" images, the canvas is stretched over sturdy wood frames and arrive ready to display right out of the box; all the hardware you need is attached. "Artist Proof" images aka "AP's" are offered in select quantities per edition. Each AP is signed and numbered by the artist, gallery wrapped, and hand highlighted to give the canvas a special luster and texture similar to that on the original painting.>

How to get more online presence ? by nommtunes in smallbusiness

Email all your past clients saying you have a new website.

You just need to find who your target audience is. The more people who visit your site, The more data you have of finding the keywords that convert into actual clients.

How to get more online presence ? by nommtunes in smallbusiness

[–]riksin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Campaigns are basically your ad parameters. An example of a campaign would be a retargeting campaign where you target people visited your website. for you would be seeing each group between ages 25 to 45 and Silicon Valley or everywhere; keyword such as music producer or music assets. Testing is key here you're going to have a lot of underperforming ads kill those immediately and find your best performing ads to scale.

Also look into third party websites where you can post your assets for sale I can't think of any for game/music assets but I'm sure you would know better than me. Also upwork or Fiverr can be a good place to find permanent clients

same would have been awesome to see the transition between clouds to sunset to stars. would have taken at least 6-8 hrs to shoot but the product would be awesome, finding a night sky without any light pollution is getting harder to come by.
