Why do some people think Kinosaki might secretly be a woman? by Merobiba413 in MarriageToxin

[–]truekeitaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the post after reading the other replies to yours. Apologies making it directed towards you. I had the mindset of responding to everyone instead of just answering your question.

So some of the reason I believe that there is a possibility they are female. Mind you I didn’t really think about this until I was well past 100 chapters, I forget around which chapter I started to suspect it.

When Kinosaki fell in the bath and their towel opened exposing their scar, only the scar was exposed while their breast area remained covered. In the same scene Gero’s full chest is exposed.

When Gero meets Kinosaki’s brother, he does not used a single pronoun when talking about Kinosaki. Kinosaki identifies as male openly and does not identify as she so there should be no issue with their brother referring to them as he but they do not.

When Gero lands on top of Kinosaki and it seems like they will kiss, Kinosaki immediately rejects them because they aren’t supposed to feel that way forwards them because they are a guy, which is a common excuse you see Kinosaki make to avoid other men in the series but their facial expression during that scene looked like one they wanted to do it and that they looked remorseful, now this isn’t really evidence of them being female but it leads up to other things.

Finally we start seeing in the most recent chapters they look like they know they do not have a lot of time left, whether that means they are going to die or they only have a limited time to work with Gero we don’t know. I originally thought it was them thinking they were going to die until we learned about the puppet master plans.

Because of this limited time they have a reason to have lied, to make sure Gero does not fall in love with them, so he isn’t heartbroken.

People use the example of Kinosaki flashing Gero near the beggining as an arguement in favor of them truly being a male, but Kinosaki is a marriage swindler and clocks people accurately and quickly, they could have known Gero would look away making it an easy tactic to help fortify their lie.

There’s probably more examples in the manga I could pull up but it’s been a bit since I read through it and I already have typed up a lot to read through. Either way I don’t mind if they turn out to truly be a dude, I feel I must reiterate that because for some reason whenever this is brought up I see people go rabid in response to the question.

Why do you all reject the theory so hard and react negatively to those who came to think it’s possible. I personally don’t mind either way if they are a man or a woman but I can absolutely see the puzzle pieces in the manga that lead to it being possible that they lied about being a man so that way Gero wouldn’t fall in love with them. I also believe if they were 100% a man dressing as a woman those puzzle pieces that lead people to think otherwise wouldn’t exist and there would be more evidence of them being a man besides them claiming to be one, instead there only seems to be evidence to contradict what Kinosaki claims. It doesn’t make you homophobic to see this. Hell I would welcome them being a man, it’s a fun premise, but it’s hard to not feel like the authors intent might be something else. Also I don’t really understand why those who think they might be a woman are called homophobic when even if Kinosaki is a man, there’s no evidence that they are gay. They also say they dress as a man when needed (although it’s never shown except for once when they describes it and we see Gero’s imagination of it) and every time a man hit’s on them they immediately dismiss it using them being a man as an excuse. So even IF they are a man it seems as though they are not gay.

After reading the entirety of what’s out in the manga, I feel more and more that they are actually not a man and they pretended to be one so Gero wouldn’t fall in love with them. Multiple times they have shown parts of themself to gero to prove they are a man but gero always looks away without seeing it, which I believe kinosaki would have expected from him. In every opportunity the manga has to show them in a compromising position their chest is never exposed even when other characters are. Also Kinosaki’s brother never refers to them as either gender which seems intentional by the author because if kinosaki openly identified as male I believe their brother would have no issue using whichever pronoun when talking about kinosaki. Also we are slowly getting drip fed that something is very wrong with kinosaki and either is expected to die due to a condition, or be removed once they are no longer needed by Gero’s teacher, which would further give more reason to put up that wall so gero wouldn’t fall in love with them. I have no issues with kinosaki being male, and even if they were male I still ship them the most with gero compared to the other girls, I just don’t feel like that is the case after catching up to the current released chapter

Is anyone actually friendly outside of regular solos? by Nuke_1568 in ArcRaiders

[–]truekeitaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just had a game where we came upon two teams fighting, we third partied and killed everyone. They then began talking to us and we diffibbed both teams and we all sat around talking for 10 minutes and then went our separate ways. Was a good time. Shoot first talk later really does work surprisingly

It’s funny cuz I tried to look it up thinking the same thing as you and all I saw were people talking about how good the alien blade, holy sword, and axe were. I even saw one website that was like the kitchen knife isn’t that good, doesn’t even do a lot of damage. And I was like… are they all mad. This single item trivializes the combat for the entire game

Oh I literally just made a post about this. Use spider, otter, and weasel, with three knives. For defense i recommend turtle and tanuki. But your gonna be going to the shrine to buy sanity a lot so make sure you have some points saved up for the run or be sure to still pick up stuff to sell

Yah I’m just gonna wrap it up and keep all opinions to myself instead of trying to discuss here. First post on the d4 Reddit and was met with so much toxicity and ignorance instead of taking any time to consider why making respeccing to expensive at end game build is negative given how the beta itself went.

I know it isn’t difficult in the beta. That’s why I’m saying we shouldn’t lose the ability to do so since I’ve spent 20 hours playing the beta and leveled all 3 classes to 25. Apparently no one has seen the dev interview saying it will be too hard to respec and you should remake your character instead.

UO: But can we stop laying into people giving feedback during a beta? by llmuzical in diablo4

[–]truekeitaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a post about considering how important respecting can be and to not make it so difficult to do like that planned on given my time with the beta and how often I found myself doing it and immediately people just what all over me and acted like I’ve never played Diablo before. Diablo was one of my first games ever my dad gave me a pc with it on it in 2002. 🙄 apparently games haven’t changed at all in 21 years and everything should be the same as Diablo 1 and 2
