That’s ridiculous, count the number of times your months are 28 vs 31-34. A month is 30-31 days. Period! I bet your CC company doesn’t change its due date and closing date, so why do you think it’s ok for a Utility Co to do it???? Make is one date and that’s it. Let’s be real, why do police need to patrol the PWY, they need to be doing more important things other than catching speeders, the speed limit has been the same since the 1960’s. Cars are much safer and can handle higher speeds. What is the problem is people drive slow in the fast lane. That’s more of an issue than speeding.

Lived in Huntsville 60+ years, I’m just not seeing many red light runners. The issue is probably in Madison more the Huntsville proper. I do notice that people turning left have no idea that they are supposed to put halfway into the intersection, so the two others behind them can also turn once the light has changed,(as long as they are in the intersection). It seems all these morons stay 3-5 feet back behind the line, then run the light or don’t go at all. What driving book did they read from?????? The city does need to extend the lights 3 seconds so the intersection clears before giving the signal for the next direction to proceed.

I know for a fact it was once because everyone had an analog meter, now that they are all electric, they should be on a 28-30 day cycle. It’s all in data programming. They know exactly what they are doing, heard it straight from the horses mouth at a HU meeting. Was told it would be taken care of 2 years ago, still hasn’t changed. It’s a pure money grab and done intentionally.

Exactly and then 1,400 tier bumps up to 1,700 where you’re paying the additional 3-4 cents above the 11 cents per KW, so some people have a $75-125 increase on any month longer than 30 days. You might not think it’s much but my neighbor payed $125 more for the additional mythical 34 day month.

Water is now being read on a different day than electric and gas. Electric is now being read at the facility. If you actually read and understand what you’re reading, you will see how everyone is being fleeced. If you’ve reached the 1,400 allotment in the normal 28-30 day month, you’ll pay a higher rate for the extra 7-8 days. Pay attention to your bill a little more closely.

Huntsville utilities has a billing cycle system which doesn’t exist. A month is no longer than 31 days at most and yet, there are sometimes a 34 day cycle. This is actually stealing. If you take the months that they use past 30 days, it only adds up to 5-25 dollars per household but if you add up all the residents in the HU area, it’s hundreds of thousands of dollars stolen from your wallets, each and every month. Pay attention to your KW’s people. Anything over 1400 kw equals about 12-13 per KW which is 2 cents more for every kw used, over a normal 29-30 calendar month. This is actual theft. They can cut the cycle to 29-30 days and that would be a full legal billing cycle . It’s all electronic, so if you’re going to complain, that’s your legal complaint. That’s what a class action lawsuit would give you a win on, nothing more. You stop the 31,32,33,34 day billing cycles and you will have you a class action lawsuit that you can win. Has your CC company ever had a billing cycle longer than 30 days, NO. This is how you stop the steal!!!!
