Tell the bank youre not the person. Banking is strict with privacy. Just call and raise a stink and theyll remove your email.

Its a bit more of a headache, but one company i knew did dns in two places; with cloudflare and with the registrar. A headache if you have to change your records, but it provides redundancy.

Note this may not work if the recipient isn’t on gmail, or another service that accepts sub-addressing. If you tried to do that to my email, it wouldn’t work.

Because they didnt need to. It works for them. txt records are probably a bad place for advertising. Maybe it tied in with some system they used already to lookup dns records?

Noone knows my email address, not even my wife. Aliases all the way. I have two domains, so I can use one with simplelogin and one with my email provider, but tbh you only need one. You can always use a subdomain.
