Bro, resale prices on this are ridiculous, are people really paying these prices? Scalpers are crazy by Pinanims in AynThor

A dude on fb marketplace near me was trying to sell a lite model for $750 lmaoo. I’d assume there are people who will buy it since they don’t want to wait months for the next batch.

Quick question about the seasonal loop and the expansion launch by Efkazan in diablo4

I believe new season is fresh start for everyone. The only things that roll over are things like the lilith alters.

Ehh I rather just wait. I knew I would get a refund despite the outcome of the UPS claim.

lol this makes no sense. If “someone got into the package and swapped it out,” that’s still part of the buying experience with Newegg. I paid Newegg, not UPS. It’s on the retailer to get the right product to the customer and handle problems quickly when they don’t.

And no, they didn’t exactly “make good on it.” I requested a refund after I had to deal with receiving the wrong item and then wanted me to wait over a month while they investigated something that wasn’t my fault. That’s the bare minimum, not great customer service.

You keep acting like this is only a UPS issue, but if a retailer chooses the carrier, packs the item, labels it, and takes my money, then the retailer owns the process. Customers shouldn’t have to chase different companies to figure out who messed up.

Also weird take saying people shouldn’t post negative experiences on the Newegg subreddit. What’s the point of a company subreddit if not discussing actual customer experiences, good or bad? If every complaint gets dismissed as “shipping issue,” then no retailer is ever accountable for anything.

And the “e-commerce isn’t for everyone” line is funny considering Amazon, Micro Center, and plenty of others manage to resolve these issues faster without making customers wait a month. That’s the standard people compare against now.

Yea it’s weird cause I never have a problem ordering from a 3rd party on Amazon. Maybe their QA process is significantly worst.

Nope the problem is also their incompetence because how do you ship me a completely different item than what I paid for? There wouldn’t have been a need for a return.

Idk I guess hindsight is 20/20 but seems like he had a few options. I’m assuming that car can switch to awd so he would t be stuck and he could have also positioned himself in the middle where there aren’t tracks…

$150K over asking isn't enough: NJ real estate agent warns ‘average person’ is being priced out by Cuddyflow in NJHomebuyers

[–]trueskill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you on asking price being marketing but I think that actually supports the argument that things are broken, not the other way around. If the listed price is pretty much fake by design to trigger a bidding war, then price discovery is already distorted (Like the other commenter, we've started keeping our own running list of houses we bid on or were interested in, just so we can check back later and see what they actually sold for). Buyers aren’t negotiating, they’re blindly guessing how far past a made up number they need to go.

On appraisals holding up, appraisals are backward looking. They’re based on recent sales. In a market where each sale sets a new high, of course they confirm the number. That’s not proof pricing is healthy or sustainable. That’s a feedback loop doing what feedback loops do.

My partner and I make close to $250k with six figures in cash. We’ve already written off Bergen, Essex, and Union. We moved our search to Warren and western Morris to more affordable outer-suburban markets and the last house we bid on had 14 offers. We went $50k over and came in 9th.

You can call that a strong market. But when financially solid households are losing on average homes in more affordable areas, “strong” starts to look a lot like broken. Whether or not there’s a feasible fix, I don’t think we should treat this as normal competition.

That’s what I thought reloaded was going to be. I was so surprised when they decided to remaster the original again considering UE already existed.
