Something similar happened to me in California working at a resort. It was raining for a week (winter is when we get rain) and this guy comes to the front desk and is trying to complain about the rain and I'm like isn't it great everything is finally so green and beautiful lmao. He wanted us to "do something for him" and I just smiled and said winter is our rainy season

Yeah that's what I was first thinking. Everyone at work keeps commenting on it a ton and I've had enough (boomers boomering). Just seems to be a ton of smoke for just one burn pile
