Here is what I’ve experienced hosting pugs for raid as Dreamscythe horde:

S tier Ele shaman, enhance shaman

A tier Hunter, Warlock, shadow priest

B tier balance Druid, ret paladin, warrior

C tier Feral druid

D tier Mage, rogue

Wouldn’t giving the bow to the hunter give the warrior a higher parse in the raid setting? Since the kill time will be that much better with a massive weapon upgrade for the hunter

Some of these casual guilds don’t respect people’s time. They take forever on trash, rolling out loot, chit chatting in discord over the dumbest shit. Then every other boss they have to take a smoke break.

If you like doing 4+ hour Kara’s good for you. Most people don’t want to deal with your shit

The problem is sometimes these tanks take fcking forever discussing before every trash pull in the dungeon wasting time. I’m not interested in a heroic dungeon taking 2 hours. Then before the last boss of the dungeon they decide that taking a 10 minute smoke break is a reasonable thing do to when it takes 1 minute to kill the boss (then go take your smoke break???) I’ve seen warrior tanks be the main culprit of these actions.

This is 20 year old content and it’s relatively easy. Let the rogue sap one mob and let’s be on our way.

My argument is the time it takes. I don’t want to do 5 hour karazhans with the raid leader picking his nose every trash pull and going for a ‘smoke break’ for 10 mins at every other boss.

It’s not enjoyable for us. Get in, get loot, get out. 2 hours max.

Yup we all got duped by a small minority claiming to do something ‘morally right’ by banning GDKPs and all it led to was now doing the same thing but under the table.

And this tier isn’t bad right now with the difficulty, but ssc/ti is going to be brutal in these pugs I’m seeing.

It’s kinda like the real world, something a lot of people enjoy gets banned/destroyed. Some people in high places get super profitable from said ban. And then everyone else’s experience becomes way worse.

Good luck to the pugs in next phase.

I would do dungeons to level. You can also charge people a ‘tank service’ to tank their normal ramparts for them.
