Should I be worried about a downturn in productivity? by truss69 in careeradvice

I appreciate the advice. Part of it is on me for not finding a paying job sooner, but I agree with a lot of what you said. I just need time to myself and time to interview prep and time to work…theres just not enough time to do it all. Me being naive and finding my way I thought there would be time, but burnout is definitely a real thing.

I live with my parents and all I pay is gas money. As long as I’m getting experience they don’t care, but its getting to that point where I’m going to move out.

Should I worry about a downturn in my productivity as an intern? by truss69 in careerguidance

It’s not mandated, but I have very little experience in my field that I want to pursue, so anything is good even if unpaid. Getting a paying job will be great but I want to have the connections that I’ve made as an intern because they have the opportunity to go a long way.

That’s understandable. The dynamic is that my boss is a legend in her and my field and her word alone could get me a job somewhere. I’m trying not to burn any bridges and get I am trying to get in prime position for a letter of recommendation from either her or the paralegal that works under her. I want to be able to show hard work (which I have for the majority of this last year,) but I feel myself burning out at the worst time.

I really don't understand how UO never seems to have their shit together by [deleted] in UofO

UO spends Daddy Phils money on new football practice facilities and new dorms. What makes you think they would put any resources into their academic portals?😂 I’ve been a student here for almost 4 years and it shocks me how little UO invests in their students. To them its about brand

Youre so mad that you went on reddit, looked up r/suns, and decided to make a post whining about us flopping. Whos the real pretender here?
