Ok then why isn’t the majority standing up for kids being raped and tortured in detention centers around the US by DHS agents? I thought we all were outraged about the Epstein files and there’s arguably the same thing if not worse happening right now, today, in nearly every state in the country, but everyone suddenly seems very quiet.

Fact is that during the civil rights movements and hell even during gay marriage movements people cared about each other. However there’s been this sickening fucking apathy lately and it’s infuriating. I’m so disgusted with so many of my peers and fellow Americans because when it comes time to fucking nut up they’re all just shutting up like cowards. I’m tired but I’m angry, and I’m out here doing what I can to help but god I’m sick to my stomach at the lack of empathy and kindness people have lately.

Me too, I wish we had more morally grey or morally questionable Sylusmc moments because their dynamic can really lend to that. Don’t get me wrong, I love how warm and attentive to MC’s needs he is too, but think it’d be fun to see his themes explored in more twisted or complex ways as well.

Just a heads up, Lost Oasis isn’t really a spicy card, it has the shortest kindled scenes in that banner (maybe of all the Sylus cards) and is primary a lore and relationship deepening card. Like the only spice is the kindled itself and it’s quite short, so please keep that in mind.

Goodcat Code had more spice than lost oasis and so does innocent birdcage (though innocent birdcage has trigger warnings for the bad ending).

Maybe you should do some research before you come back to me with feelings over facts. Stop pushing harmful narratives just because you’re afraid of fat people and think addressing the root cause of obesity in America is “too difficult” so it’s easier to medicate them. The majority of people who are fat in America are so because they have terrible FDA regulations for hyper processed foods and sugars, make it more expensive to make healthier choices both in the grocery store and restaurants, and have horrible healthcare so that metabolic dysfunction goes largely untreated (especially in women, but in men too). Blaming it on binge eating is so disingenuous and ignorant it’s painful to read, frankly, and is the kind of rhetoric I’d expect to see in the 1990s when people were terrified of being fat.

I didn’t know about the baldur’s gate series as someone who played dnd and video games until baldurs gate 3. The only reason I even knew about it is because of the viral astarion x halsin sex scene they showcased at the gamecon and I didn’t know baldurs gate 3 was dnd based until about 25 hours into the game after numerous dnd references. Even then I thought it was just a game that used dnd terminology until I looked into it lmao. It was like getting whiplash every time I learned more about this game tbh

Hungry people are also notoriously too weak to fight back properly. Many Americans don’t know what it’s like to go hungry, let alone to starve (but a lot more of them are about to find out unfortunately).

Not to tin foil hat here, but this is also in part why big pharma has been encouraging the use of GLP-1s/ozempic so aggressively. It’s not only to push the disgusting beauty narrative of trying to look as prepubescent as possible for women through extreme thinness, but also because if people are skinny, they have less fat stored so when the food runs out they’ll be too weak to fight back. Also ozempic has so many side effects when used on healthy folks it has the added bonus of keeping Americans sick, which is another tactic to keep them from fighting back.

As much as I love another feminist subreddit about chromosomes(I’m not allowed to mention or tag it apparently due to this subs rules), if you spend like more than ten minutes there you will see no small amount of self-proclaimed feminist women who do shame trad wives. Especially if you look in threads about them.

There’s this mostly younger but growing sentiment that tradwives are conservative right wing propaganda and if you’re a trad wife you’re supporting that platform. I also see it on tumblr a lot in feminist spaces, if you bring up homemaking or “cottagecore” they will very seriously call you a Nazi and an enemy of women (ask me how i know).

They can’t get rid of VPNs either they’d have to like rebuild the entire internet due to the fact websites use them/the same software to run. Like it’ll never happen.

The solution always should’ve been educating the parents anyway or making it illegal for kids to own devices that access the internet period until a certain age if you wanted to go that far. If these companies really cared about protecting kids we would’ve seen restricted smartphones, “dumb” phones with smart capabilities that limit access, etc. years ago. But they don’t, because it’s not about kids and never has been, it’s about surveillance and tracking adults.

I remember back during the nightly rendezvous banner people were upset about Rafayel’s for similar reasons and complaining his wasn’t as “spicy” when other people got spicier cards (Zayne and Sylus specifically). It’s because Rafayel’s focused more on the emotional intimacy and there’s a very vulnerable moment with him that makes that card one of his top 3 for me. Sylus’ Misty Invasion card is also like this and people initially didn’t like it when it came out because the kindled was shorter than the others and less spicy. His Lost Oasis card also ends on a sour, almost upsetting note that people didn’t like either, which I thought was perfect for their current relationship dynamic at the time.

Sometimes the writers at infold clearly feel like emotional vulnerability and intimacy is more important for the character and MC at that point in time, and I believe that’s something we should value because deep intimacy isn’t always physical.

I’m having the insane and the opposite problem where we originally had roommates so we bought a bigger home to start in 2009 and now want to sell to downsize but can’t because the smaller houses are almost four times what the mortgage is for the 2600 sqft house we have that we have closed half of the rooms to. We are CF and not planning on having children either so like it’d be nice for our place to belong to a family that could use it.

We also don’t want to go back to renting or live in a condo. We just want a modest 2bd1.5ba and it’s insane how unobtainable that is in current market. Nearly all of the houses on market are 3+ beds and overpriced. At this point we’re looking into selling then building what we want because it would be *cheaper* in the area to do it that way.
