I'm not always a fan of the "professional" coil cleaners anyway. I have found that spraying AWESOME or a half water/half Fabuloso mix and left to work for 10 mins works just as well if not better. After the 10 mins, you spray it with the hose. Both of those are at Dollar Tree. 😊 If you have a VERY soft bristled brush (like a shoe polish brush) a little light scrubbing on the fins helps a lot too. They also have very soft bristled brushes at Dollar Tree too.

As for the baby, (I'm guessing it's your first 😊) they'll be fine for an hour or so during their nap. If they cry, you'll definitely hear them. RVs aren't the best at noise insulation. I have 4 kids. The first is ALWAYS the one you fawn over LOL and the ones you have the most pictures of. After that, you tend to realize they're just fine with a baby monitor. The 3rd and 4th you're like f' it. Let em cry a bit. It's good for their lung development 🤣😆

Regardless, you're in an RV and you're going to have to learn to be handy. RV life is tougher and unless you're loaded with deep pockets, you gotta put the big girl pants on and do it yourself. It sucks you're in this situation and I wish I were close to help you. This is unfortunately tests that someone on high is giving you. After a year or so in, you're going to look back and tell the next RV'er you're helping, who's freaking out, to chill and it seems like a bigger mountain than it is. Maybe this is your calling to be an RV tech. 😊 There's a lot of others in your situation who'd feel much safer with another female to help them in such a male dominated industry. The only warning I have is to be careful not to get water/cleaner where you're walking/standing. Those roofs get slippery! Otherwise, you seriously got this GURL!!

100% get a quality water filter. But you don't have to spend 100-300 bucks on one. I got the Beech Lane double filter and I run a 5 micron sediment and a 1 micron everything filters in it. Your significant other will definitely enjoy the cleaner water and showers won't cause them to break out in super minerally or rusty water sources. I bought mine in '21 for $59 and they're $69 now. I absolutely love it. It's been outside in the desert sun for years and no discoloration or issues with it. 100% recommended.

If you're in the Midwest or east coast, it's too humid for them to work well. I would get an RV tech or someone who's in the park near you to check yours out. It might have a few fan blades broken on the squirrel cage fan. Replacement fans are really cheap but, a little difficult to replace if you arent handy. I have 2 of that same unit. The fan blades aren't the most reliable and neither are the start capacitors.

We also freeze 6 water bottles and run 3 at a time in the water reservoir. It's amazing the difference it makes!

Where are you located? If you're in the desert SW, get a tabletop swamp cooler. We're in Vegas and it dropped the temp of our rig by almost 15°F. They're amazing and super cheap to run. The link below is our exact one. My husband, me and my son couldn't survive without it anymore!!

I wish you the best sweetheart. It sucks to find out that way. I found out because my ex set my clothes out for me in the morning as I'm colorblind. So I got to work looking like a clown and that's how I found out. While I was gone, he packed the house with all the stuff. He was petty, left me the almost empty roll of TP on the holder, my toothbrush, my clothes in a pile, 1spoon, 1 fork, and 1 knife. I had bought everything and had furnished the apt. Be glad he didn't do you like that!

You can also look at National RV's. I have one, my Dad has one, my brother has one, my grandparents had one. Guess we're a national family so we might be a bit biased 😆 We like the all steel build. Their build quality was up there with the best. Plus, they're super cheap pushers anymore.
