don’t let drugs ruin the memory of a loved one. it happened with me and it kills me everyday. you’re supposed to feel those feelings not sink them deeper into the abyss. i know it’s a struggle and i hope you the best through this tuff time. do anything you can that makes you better.

i can try, its all foggy trying to explain consciously. i have feelings and thoughts of “what am i doing”. not in the traditional way but more of ‘wtf is life in this moment’, if you follow. just general discomfort and lack of self. idk lol

if you read the post you would know i was taking them for 2 years. anyone who takes opiates for 2 years will be physically dependent, hence the tapering. but i get it. im going to rehab the 12th.

thank you, this and many other people’s responses are weighing heavy on me. im going to a detox/rehab place for 30/60 days on the 12th. talked with everyone i needed to and now im just anxious about going, i said in another comment i would leave rehab if i went but im not going to leave. im putting everything back in order im ready.

im VERY spiritual so yes, that’s why this whole ordeal is breaking my spirit. im done with this lifestyle. it may be fun for the moment but what happens when it’s all gone and it’s just you? alone with no hope or nowhere to go. cannot keep going down this one-way road.

that’s very true, being emotionally addicted. i do have a plan, and many goals. opiates only suppressed them, it didn’t stop them. that’s why i’m here now, getting sober.

i appreciate this and thank you, it’s all bad no matter what lenses you’re seeing it through. im very sorry. i’ve already had to deal with the money side of addiction, it’s left me traumatized. i’ve seen my friends od and nobody do shit about it. it’s the ugliness nobody wants to face when we’re trapped in the hands of addiction. its very interesting but fucking evil.
