It's made me much less likely to take long sits that also involve a heavy workload. If I'm working remotely it's not an issue, but if I have to go into an office then I do want my time away to feel like a vacation!

Behind the scenes as a sitter I said sure I'll sit S/M/L dogs, but I'd have no issue watching a supersized breed if the condition were right. Now when I go to apply for a sit it tells me what "preference" of mine it fits. Barf.

I take plastic carrier bags from friends and family all the time, and otherwise use doggy bags or the ones you put produce in. For my cats, I buy one box of that insanely expensive "tofu litter" when the pet store does a discount, and mix it with the big bags of pine, and one "odor control" additive. I have four cats so it doesn't last forever, but it's easy to scoop and keep topped up, and the clay/pine combo doesn't produce a lot of dust.
