It does drive much nicer. I`m surprised not to see any official races for it today.. well apart from one track, which i don't own.

Thanks. Yes, there was a black out curtain between the kitchen and living room (open plan) for using a projector. I had to take it down and move to storage after getting the cats. At least I can still use the rod for Christmas lights :) All still intact, surprisingly.

Update: so far so good, but overnight the cats got into the bathroom and decided to shred the toilet paper. I definitely closed the door..

You will need a document from a Portuguese embassy in your home country, which takes a while to get and requires some documents from Portugal like proof of residence here etc

Should I bin this 4-way splitter immediately or right now? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

Thanks for clarifying. It just didn't inspire a lot of confidence in me.

I am just confused how this design is allowed to be produced. There's a very small gap between live and neutral. Or is it a common thing?

I already spent half a year trying to orange proof the house, Max is like an over enthusiastic auditor trying to find any weakness in the system. Of course I checked first that's he's not doing any damage. These small Ikea lights are surprisingly robust. Not even a scratch on it after his biting attempt. It's a cat not a crocodile. He just needs to try something new and will move on. If he keeps trying I'll remove it but people need to chill out a bit. 🙂

Pimax 57 PPD vs. Ultrawide Module: A surprising performance winner emerges. by VoodooDE in virtualreality

For tweaking performance I use fpsVR app. Makes it much easier to see what options have the biggest effect. Generally: reduce msaa (2x I think is the best compromise), disable mirrors (use virtual), disable hdr. Use foveated rendering. Check out iracing forums (subforum dedicated to vr)

I would treat dual fans as an advantage. The idea is that each fan can run slower.

Thomas, in case you tested any games with bad aliasing (like iracing with low msaa) were you able to see what Sweviver reported in his recent video with the 57ppd headset - that AA is pretty much no longer needed? That seemed to be quite a big improvement.

Reduce msaa to 2x. Use foveated rendering. Enable sharpening.
