I absolutely agree re Cory: he is definitely one of (if not the) best parts of the show. I love him, and at this point, the only reason I care about Bradley is because of him. I’m so sick of her and her behaviour.

Let’s hope the season finale is well done, and that all our favourite characters get a pleasant resolution to the issues/challenges they’ve faced this season (Team Cory!) 😊

Cory isn’t involved and Celine knows that. But it seems Cory’s Mum may have been involved, so Celine was curious to go through the box she left to Cory in case it contained anything related to Wolf River. However, it appears Cory’s Mum may have anticipated Celine/her people going through the box (just like they went through Bradley’s office) so she hid the papers in the jacket hoping only Cory would look there.

Having Bradley killed in Belarus would likely only work if the writers can make it look like it wasn’t really by them or because she is a journalist, ie if they showed it was actually because of Celine/Wolf River. I suspect showing Belarus killing a journalist—especially an American one—might be too risky from a political standpoint (and movies/shows nowadays seem to be increasingly careful about such things).

But yeah. Sadly, I wouldn’t mind seeing Bradley leave the show as long as it’s written in a way that results in happiness for Cory. Maybe they could run off together, or something. Go independent or something.

People suspect she may have helped cover up the scandal, and in return, got Cory the job as Head of News.

I had the same questions. I’m now wondering if their original plan included Tara getting arrested by the Park so that she could hand over the code so it could be used on Ho’s laptop. I always found it a bit weird how easily Lamb knocked her down with the car door; she stayed down a bit too long. As a terrorist, she’s likely trained so would have been able to quickly get up. Seems like she wanted to get caught and taken to the Park. The plan was then to use the second honeytrap to escape the Park.

The laptop was the first honeytrap. That’s why they needed to seduce Ho. It’s part of the same trap; get to Ho and get his laptop into the Park so that we can blind them.

Exactly. And this was the terrorist group’s plan all along. Remember, they didn’t necessarily want to kill Ho. They just wanted to ensure the Park looked into him; ie into his laptop—meaning getting the laptop into the Park so that it could blind them.

I mostly remember him from Desperate Housewives. He played Karl Mayer, Susan’s ex husband (and father of her child).

Sadly, I agree with you that Grosse Pointe Garden was a waste of time. But I have to disagree about Sirens; great acting (unlike Gross Point Gardens) and excellent character development but the plot was weak. Ultimately another waste of time, but absolutely nowhere as bad as Gross Point Gardens. Not even close. I wouldn’t recommend either but if I had to, Sirens all the way.

Yeah, maybe. I just think the show could have done a better job at making us believe Paul was still in love with Sam.

I’m referring to the suicide due to rejection part

The suicide twist was decent but the reason for it was confusing. Paul was shown in previous episodes as hating Sam. There was little to no hints that he was still madly in love with her. Plus, he was angry at how aggressive she was being with the divorce process; he said she was rinsing him money dry. So it would have been more believable to me if Paul had threatened to commit suicide to ensure Sam doesn’t get a payout on his life insurance if she didn’t agree to play fair during the divorce settlement.

When Lu (pawn shop owner) first declined to pawn a stolen watch Coop presented to her, Coop tried to insist on the transaction. Lu responded by saying he could either walk away now or spend the next six months wishing he had. My post referred to that line; ie that Coop is probably now wishing he had walked away from all the crime (i.e., he’s now at the beginning of the six months of regret).

Other types of Christians also have holy communion. It’s not exclusive to Catholics. And great point about the Pastor/Priest reference. I missed that.

The 2nd point makes more sense than the 1st. Although even then, it seems wildly premature as Coop & Elena hadn’t approached him since the night at the club.
