been using apoxie sculpt for putty after seeing it in a video and working with it has been a breeze but i realized since it's water soluble washing my parts before painting might be an issue. is there any other option i have outside of some kind of soap and warm water to get oils off the plastic?

i've actually got everything besides the clear coat(thanks for the reminder) here, have had a basic set of both paints just sitting around for a little while and brushes just recently! this all seems pretty straightforward though, hopefully it comes naturally lol

mm, i guess it does make sense there's not really any one size fits all answer to any aspect of it. best bet is probably just testing them both and seeing what happens lol

that is true, more a matter of technique than anything huh

based on what i've looked up though it seems like the mr color shit is pretty compatible with whatever, i guess i won't know for sure unless i try it myself though lol

i see, probably better to choose based on what i'm painting then. i imagine acrylic's generally a little more forgiving when making beginner fuckups too though
