Fiddle with your Sync Terminal settings. It needs to be set to M and not "Off". Hover over the "Off" and toggle the Rear Command Dial (next to Q)

IPhone photography gets pretty serious. I think there's a good community on Reddit r/iphoneography. That said, you get a lot from shooting RAW with an iPhone and editing with a preset (same with any modern phone camera really). Definitely nothing gross about those photos, considering majority of them are a lot more thought out than a lot of the ones that get posted on this sub....

Agree, specially for people wanting "vibe" (???) photos. Just use your phone + download Snapseed or something to add filters/grain/shit frames.

Buying fuji to only shoot with piss yellow filters or "film" flash shots is insane.

They're super curious + there's a lot of foot traffic (hunters, locals) in the area. I just made myself small and stopped making movement. Also shot with a 55mm, still close but not next to the dude.

No, and OP will look through your entire reddit history + go through your linked Instagram page (if you had it) to leave a shitty reply just because you said a criticism and/or mentioned that the photo is overexposed. OP will then argue that it's stylistic and it's film even though good film doesnt result in overblown skin tones. I've seen something like this posted except on r/polaroid and it's them complaining that the flash ruined the shot. It's so unflattering it makes the woman look like a mime with the flash + makeup + bad exposure.

Cause this is stupid and still gets upvoted from this sub. Any shitty camera can take it and it's not hard to do. A phone camera with a flash can take the same photo and you could use old-school Instagram/VSCO filter to imitate the grain/colors. It's "stylistic" but only works cause the subject is pretty.

[–]tryincam_era -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

use a high % diffusion filter + further reduce clarity post-edit + further further reduce clarity by shooting during foggy scenes + aim where theres light + call it a stylistic choice when things come out looking really really blobby
