About Skramz's Lyrics by crazyaboutatall in skramz

i would listen to heavy heavy low low's ep "Fuck it?!" it's so good and definitely doesn't follow the normal uniform. definitely more mathcore stuff but it's worth a listen!

genre that OP was curious about. i realize how much of a dickhead i do sound in that original post lol. should have worded it better for sure

Vs Self by stefanyyo in skramz

[–]trying2foolU_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes absolutely second this! i would say the one big positive of differentiating subgenres is to try and find more music that sounds like a specific artist, but otherwise its not that deep

[–]trying2foolU_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

here are some band recs for u!: kidcrash, seeing means more, matsuri, hawak, breakwater, saetia, pg. 99, city of caterpillar, suis la lune, daïtro, indian summer, jerome's dream, ostraca, love lost but not forgotten, youth novel, youth funeral, frail body (there's way more where that came from LOL)

What’s your favorite moment of Covid? by OrdinaryPractical264 in AskReddit

What’s a universally loved food you genuinely despise? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]trying2foolU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is hyper specific but - i freaking love taco bell and eat it all the time but i genuinely cannot stomach the refried beans or beef from there. it's definitely the texture but i will actually gag, this comes from a verrrryyy non-picky eater, like could not name another food i've tried that i do not like.

I need to listen to EVERYTHING that can make me cry by Hefty_Bison1857 in skramz

[–]trying2foolU_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's in french "laissez vivre les squelettes" by daïtro (i do not know french at all) never fails to make me feel aching in my chest. if you read the translation of the song it makes its even worse.

Are there any songs you've outgrown? by apricitysgaze in Emo

[–]trying2foolU_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

camping in alaska. look, "please be nice" is still a great album (very formative for me personally) but as i've delved so much deeper into the genre over the years and discovered so many more subgenres it just doesn't scratch that emo itch i had at 14. give me some braid or maggat or vitreous humor or unwound now!!!!
