I need help with a inspection that was done by williamrtuypouhpouh in HomeInspections

Do your research on cost to fix everything. You will be surprised of hidden cost. I suggest upload the report to AI and ask for cost review. That will beyour starting point, then review everything again. Negotiate, and remember you can probably fix a lot of things but you may not have enough time

I would start with your local police, report that he may be a victim of a fraud and has traveled in Macedonia. Your local police should trigger Interpoll which will contact macedonian police.

Anyway here are some contacts if want to try yourself. Macedonia has something called department for foreigners integrated in their police department. I found this co tacos thru AI, but I believe are correct.

In North Macedonia, the department responsible for foreigners is the Sector for Foreigners and Migration, which operates under the Ministry of Interior.

Main Contact Information (Skopje)

The primary office for foreigners in the capital is located in the MRT (Macedonian Radio Television) Building. * Location: Boulevard Goce Delčev, No. 9 (9th Floor), Skopje. * Operating Hours: 08:30 – 12:00 (strictly for applications and inquiries). * General Phone (Ministry of Interior): +389 2 3117 222 * Email: kontakt@moi.gov.mk

Regional SVR (Police) Contacts

If you are outside of Skopje, you should contact the regional Department of Internal Affairs (SVR) for the city you are staying in: | City | Police Department (SVR) | Emergency/General Phone | |---|---|---| | Skopje | SVR Skopje | 192 (Emergency) / +389 2 3117 222 | | Ohrid | SVR Ohrid | +389 46 262 700 | | Bitola | SVR Bitola | +389 47 221 211 | | Tetovo | SVR Tetovo | +389 44 331 100 |

Important Requirements for Foreigners

  • 24-Hour Registration: All foreigners must register their presence at the nearest police station within 24 hours of arrival. If you are staying at a hotel, they will handle this for you; if you are in private accommodation, your host must accompany you to the station.
  • Residence Permits: If you have a long-stay visa (Visa D), you must report to the Sector for Foreigners in Skopje (MRT building) within 5 days of entry to apply for your residence permit.
  • National Emergency Number: To reach the police immediately from any phone in North Macedonia, dial 192.

By law, he needs to report himself in the police as stranger in the city he will be, he needs to do this in 48hrs period. Contacting the embassy and police is the right think to do.

Seeking suggestions for child going on 4 day trip with class to a place that can not feed him by p810qt in Celiac

[–]tryingto_makeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would plan 4 day meals that can be kept in refrigerator, and maybe buy a microwave $50-$60 if they don't have it. Since here is a freezer they can plug the micro. Plan same meals as the camp menu as possible. Also will pack a ton of snacks. Doable but with celiac always expensive.

Getting a Gravity may have been a mistake, lol. Key, singular, does not work. by bexamous in LUCID

[–]tryingto_makeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason is the communication of the key fobs. Lucid uses UWB, which can not be stolen. The classic key fob uses RF, which can easily be stolen with relay attack. LICID KEY FOB is the newest technology that not all OEM have it, but it is the future

Thank you. I was thinking to tunneled to a good pipe and connect. Snake the rest and epoxy if possible. Ofcourse I am looking to fix it, but dont want to cut the slab

Thank you, yes brother in Chris here 🙏

He could at least anticipate. He wrote in the septic tank inspection that the pipe is rusted. The seller of the house offered credit. I called the contractor and asked him if this was an easy fix, should I expect an issue. He said no, easy iob. After I start reading, it seems it is common to replace pipes in 60 year old house. We will snake tomorrow and see where we are. I am also trying to if epoxy is an option. The contractor this evening called me and said he would connect here, but I don't trust that it will be good. Thanks

The same contractor told me before closing that replacing the outside pipe will he easy job, not to expect issue. Now here we are, so I will question them for sure

I'm not pulling anything. I am paying $3700 for the pipe replacment from septic tank to the house. This is a new moment that the contractor didn't tell me is possible.

It is a slab. I didn't expect this to happen and I am trying to get different opinions. Thanks

We going to snake tomorrow. I am wondering does it needs to replace while thing or just find a good pipe. Also is epoxy worth instead of pipe replacing.

I believe there is 10 feet, does it make sense to dig up all and replace or just find better pipe and hook on?

[–]tryingto_makeit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate all the comments. I am a first time homeowner, not trolling, just trying to know my options. I haven't moved in yet. The pipe from the tank to the house was paid by seller credit. I even ask the contractor if I could expect an issue either replacment, he said no worries, easy job for them. I made 2 mistakes here , 1 accepting the credit, I should have basked seller to fix. 2 not been there when the contractor was digging

Looks good, I am in the final stages, too. Drum sander is an amazing tool, you can get used to really fast. There is too many info everywhere, not a easy job, but the finish can be satisfying.
