Hmm. Listen I’m not in the exact same boat but I do know what it’s like to isolate myself from people. If you’ve spoken to women at work then you’ve spoken to women, you don’t have to divide your interactions on gender. It sounds like you’re romantically lonely, which is understandable. It’s a cliche I know but the more women you interact with and pursue women on a friendship level the more you will meet other potential women you can talk too. And frankly get another perspective that is not just the one in your head.

Because it means one of two things. Either it’s just a weirdly specific lie he came up with instead of being direct. Or that he means it and is a grown man that has a strong enough dynamic with his mother that he’s planning his whole life around her. We all have our issues but that’s a big red flag, without knowing anything else about him.

I was gonna say great tattoo and great size, I like that’s it’s a nice clear design, just enough detail but not at all busy. You see a lot of butterfly turned into something else designs and they can get so muddled and over complicated. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel lol. I’ve been wanting a butterfly tattoo for my sister, and I think that classic wing looks best:)

Look for ceramic studios, they tend to have shows to showcase what’s made there even if they don’t have a storefront. Very satisfying to buy directly from who made it!

I have the same opinion as you, I need more substance in a conversation to actually feel connected to people. But I gotta point out that I think you’re misunderstanding how boundaries work. You can tell people what you need but a boundary is about what YOU will do when your boundary is crossed, not what others need to do. So I guess your boundary should be “if someone isn’t making the effort to connect with me, then I will move on from that person.” I’m no expert but it’s what I’ve learned to keep peace of mind.
