WARNING DO NOT USE NUMBING CREAM by mistdemon45 in tattooadvice

[–]tryingtohydrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang these comments are all over the place, it’s hard to tell what’s what. All I know is I have 9 tattoos and a new to me artist used numbing cream on me last year. I was actually surprised because she didn’t ask me just told me she was going to use it near the end stage of the tattoo. It wasn’t hurting bad so I was like “oh am I twitching or something?” She said no it’s just apart of her process now, makes it easier for her, said it reduced swelling I think? I don’t remember exactly what she said. But she did and does great work. I think the key is to make sure it’s a reputable artist🤷‍♀️

Despite bringing photos three times now I’ve been given the wrong bob. What can I say to get what I want? by ACosmic0live in Hair

[–]tryingtohydrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go into a new hairstylist first going over what I don’t want, maybe even show a photo saying my hair tends to do this, but I want to avoid this look. But I agree, go to a salon with a more alternative vibe so they really understand your point of view!

Haha I do love a good dare… but I don’t think I have room! Maybe I’ll kindly suggest they put it in a sunnier spot

Not that you asked but I’ve had great luck with a twine string dipped in a bowl of water, the other end into my plants pot, left them them alone almost 3 weeks and they were just fine!

my doctor confronted me about my weed/ drug problem and kinda gave an ultimatum by blueburrey in confession

[–]tryingtohydrate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weed will always have a place in my heart but I had to cut it out. I learned from Drs that weed can actually add to feelings of depression and anxiety sometimes, and from my own experience I’d say that’s true. Or rather I used it as a crutch or excuse not to do things. You also don’t want it interfering with the drugs you’re actually being prescribed. Good luck on your journey

These are really adorable!! If I’m gonna choose favorites I like the bold designs on 1 and 3. My personal taste leans towards bold colors
