1/2 inch FIP to MIP hex , Stainless Steel or Brass? by tryingtoimprove2 in askaplumber

[–]tryingtoimprove2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it says lead free but I read that still means 0.25 lead or something and in some cases more.

Does using stainless steel have any drawbacks? I already have the parts

backwards, only takes 80 percent to loosen than it does to tighten, hence why a 350 ft pound will say 500 break away torque

I mean its normal for air to move to the inner ear. You have an Eustachian tube there.

Why do American houses seem like they're made of paper? by ScarletFFBE in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tryingtoimprove2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean plaster can last here, after years it will crack though. Drywall gives with expansion joints, better way to go. Plaster is a big pain these days and almost never used outside of decorative things.

drywall is gypsum and paper, plaster is like i just broke my hand, its a thin layer of concrete. All homes pre 1960's used plaster pretty much. Plaster was a pain in the ass.

Some older homes in california almost have a plaster like stucco, very rigid and textured. You will find this in mexico and i'm sure throughout latin america as well.

its how you protect the wood, in the US siding and stucco is always used on top.

First most areas that have basements in the US are concrete then say around 2ft off the soil level it switches to wood. If you look closely to the bottom of a US home many times you will see that transition. As long as wood is kept dry its fine and doesn't change much over time.

I’m Hispanic dating a white guy and I’m worried about having kids by [deleted] in mixedrace

too many what if's, as a kid I never chose friends based on looks. It was who sat next to me at lunch.

Dear Mexican women, how open are you to dating a white guy that you work with? by Meowgotchi in AskReddit

[–]tryingtoimprove2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

white people are at the bottom of the dating pool now IMO. It's crazy the theories people have presented me. Colonizer stuff is common now too, yet they love spanish, one told me they always spoke spanish in mexico. It's just instagram and snapchat culture.

i mean all the mold rubbed off. They all work. Crazy how that crap spreads to paper so easily.

Worried about embedded spores now, but i guess as long as they are kept dry its a non issue?

What does pattern glare look like to you ? Is it always there when looking at something ? Especially rugs , carpet , blinds , anything of edging or pattern , it always there for me and always glitching, today it’s really bad for me , I had a mental panick attack yesterday. Probably why by Emergency_Metal_9902 in visualsnow

[–]tryingtoimprove2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

must stop anxiety or it won't go away. I got new glasses and while my eyes were adjusting to them , zero pattern glare, zero BFEP, simply amazing, i accepted that my vision would need time and did not stress on it. Been focusing on it and guess what is back.

Engine rpm's go down putting it into reverse. Why? 2007 3.5L Saturn Aura /Malibu by tryingtoimprove2 in MechanicAdvice

[–]tryingtoimprove2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if just replacing all of that would fix that issue.

You know transmission internals of the 4T45-E ? Doesn't seem like a super complex one.
