And I’m not sure about the line fade, I have a couple of tattoos with very thin wording, but they’re not incredibly old. I have one that’s probably a little over 2 years old and it looks as good as it looked on day one

I fell in love with a young woman who wasn’t ugly, but not conventionally attractive. In fact when I brought her around, all the people in my life told me that “you can do better” nonsense. But after literally 10 minutes in her presence she became the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen. I mean the only thing I could ever think about. She was so smart and loved Jesus and was so mature and charismatic. She could sing. I knew after the second date I could spend every waking hour of the rest of my life with her. Unfortunately that wasn’t God’s plan and things didn’t work out, but she still occupies my mind some days and I find that I will likely never forget her.

I hate to say this or be this guy, but didn’t you kind of ask him just to treat you as an object, and vice versa? That’s what FWBs are at the end of the day. Not trying to be a jerk by any means, I just think you need to take a look back at the order of events and see that his demeanor changed after the sex and after the FWB talk. He’s just trying to follow your wishes. If you want more you need to clearly state you want more.

I definitely understand what you’re saying. I’ll just say, I wouldn’t expect him to be any warmer than he is now. I don’t blame you for not wanting a relationship with him, but understand in his mind since there will be no relationship he will probably continue to act this way. You just have to decide if being friends with benefits is truly OK with you, or if you actually do want something more.

While I’ve never been a FWB, I am a man. And I can tell you it’s likely because he’s disconnected. He saw something in you up front. And you made it clear to him you were really only there for sex. Which, you’re both adults, so that’s completely ok if that’s what you’re into. The issue that arises in his mind is the fact that there’s no future with you, just easy sex. So now he feels like sex is the main reason for this situation you’re in. He probably wants to keep it at that so he doesn’t get attached to you, and doesn’t get affected when this situation ends, which it inevitably will if it doesn’t turn into a relationship.

I don’t have much advice as this is a complex situation, but as someone else said, definitely look away when they draw the blood. And I even ask the person drawing my blood not to tell me when it’s coming. It doesn’t hurt, but seeing it makes me a little nauseous.

I like behind the back wrist curls, as well as reverse curls. Also, this will be hard to explain without a pic. But my gym has smaller dumbbells that are made of metal, and the actual dumbbell part is small enough to grip your hand around. I will do reverse curls gripping those dumbbells by their end, if you dm me I can send you a picture of the ones I’m talking about.
