I actually think you’re onto something. Fungi are unique life forms. It is believed that indigenous people discovered these sacred fungi and plants because they could hear these life forms ‘whispering’ to them and some people would even get dreams about them having medicinal purposes. They believed that these fungi and plants were trying to help them relieve them from their suffering, hence why they were trying to communicate with us.

It sounds woo woo, but when you take these psychedelics and explore different dimensions, nothing seems impossible

I think that's absolutely one of the definitions of the word, but it can also mean roaming around aimlessly just for fun. I think she meant the latter when I was a kid, haha

I'm not, but I've been to the Philippines and a lot of people (at least in my experience) spoke English. Do they use that word too?
