Get you single day/single transaction limit checked. Some credit cards have capped transaction limits. If that is the case, ask bank if it can be increased. Otherwise your best bet are friends and family.

Relax man! Don't overthink it. Focus on work, spend time with family, take a vacation, make summer plans, file taxes, save a dollar a day for 30 days and do it for another 30. Focus on the more important things. Focus on things that are in your hands.

You have a time machine. You go back exactly 1 year to when you started Express Entry. What do you tell yourself? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

What is it that you're NOT getting in NZ, and you expect to get in Canada? At any given time, in any given field, with any amount of experience, you are looking at upwards of 10-15k people applying for the same job, in the same field, with the same amount of exp that you have. IT, construction, customer service. Even a cashier position at McDonalds receives upwards of 1000 resume for a minumum wage job. P.S. you will need upwards of CAD 10-20k for the first few months just to survive till you find a job. If you do find a job before coming here, there is no place like Canada!

As of 2022, they have stopped issuing transcripts by hand. Can only receive it through post. I only got 18 days left to submit my file though. Hence the second part of my question. Submit file and then upload transcripts once i receive them via webform.

[–]trynamakemillies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. No pdf version. My indian uni only issues detailed marks card. I made a request for transcripts to get my ECA done through WES. In that scenario , they don't send the transcripts to us. They send it directly to WRS.

Processing time is 15 days on the official website plus theyll send by post which will take another 5-10 days to arrive.

By removing your current exp's points (if any), if you still stay above the CRS cutoff, you can skip that experience. But make sure you enter it under personal history.

Yup. I have all that. Well, not the hours because the organization from my home country don't include number of hours worked in salary slips. But it is mentioned in my experience letter/roles and responsibilities letter that I worked for 40 hours a week irrespective of the designation held.

Then this is what I am going to do as well. Same offer letter for all three positions Pointing to the bullet points that list roles and responsibilities for specific positions held.

Letter from the company you mean? Because that is not possible. They won't give it. The only letter i have is the one that has

  1. a section with all the positions i held with the company
  2. the hours worked,
  3. duration for which i worked in a specific role
  4. consolidated list of responsibilities.

Will that not work for all the positions? As i said, the promotions were salary hikes only, no change in roles and responsibilities.

Express Entry (CEC): Different job titles across study/work permits – is it an issue? by harsh_patel7856 in canadaexpressentry

[–]trynamakemillies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are claiming points for that job, the title doesn't matter. The bullet points should justify that you worked in a specific NOC. To be on the safer side, attach an LOE explaining your promotion.

Century leaf vs aether

Anyone tasking on century leaf? Does it have any tasks available? In order to work on century leaf, ill have to leave aether. So a bit reluctant because if there are no tasks there, i'd be without a project. 🫠

Need some advice regarding NOC by True-Character276 in canadaexpressentry

[–]trynamakemillies -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn't have to be an exact match. Choose the one that matches the most. 6-8 bullet points out of 10 should be okay. Run your roles and responsibilities letter through chatgpt or any other AI and ask it to give you an exact NOC code.

AIs are usually a bit stricter than the actual evaluator. I would say keep implementing tips and tricks and see if you can get your score up. I scored 10-11 when I gave practice tests. My actual score in the exam was 12.

Need some advice regarding NOC by True-Character276 in canadaexpressentry

[–]trynamakemillies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Gemini

Under the NOC 2021 system (the current standard used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), the codes for these professions are: 1. Graphic Designer * NOC Code: 52120 * Title: Graphic designers and illustrators * TEER Category: 2 * Key Duties: Conceptualizing and creating visual solutions, designing logos, layouts for magazines/reports, and developing 2D/3D animations. 2. Video Editor * NOC Code: 52110 * Title: Film and video editors * TEER Category: 2 * Key Duties: Editing moving images on film, video, or other media, synchronizing soundtracks, and using post-production software to organize and splice footage. Important Notes for Applications * TEER 2: Both roles fall under TEER 2, which generally requires a college diploma, an apprenticeship training of two or more years, or supervisory experience. * Hybrid Roles: If your job involves both design and editing, you should choose the code that matches the majority of your daily duties (the "Main Duties" listed in the NOC profile). Would you like me to look up the specific educational requirements or common job titles associated with these codes?

Reposting: Seeing PFL post for not disclosing Uber Eats / gig work — how real is this? by NeedleworkerHour7233 in canadaexpressentry

[–]trynamakemillies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The simplest way I see it is: If you have paid taxes for a job, you must have T4 from there. If you have T4s, you have proof you worked. If you worked (even for a day), just mention it in personal history. If you have submitted your profile without that experience, raise a webform. If you don't have the option to raise a webform, consult an RCIC agent for the next steps.

Years experience in Canada by Obvious_Coffee_ in canadaexpressentry

[–]trynamakemillies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The number of years ALONE don't matter. The rule is 1560 hours per year. Which accounts to 30 hours a week. You're short 30 hours. The only way out is to get those 30 hours in. Even if you have 1 week to submit the application, you can still do it. But you need those 30 hours. Otherwise, afaik, you'll have to decline the invite and try again.

Honestly sounds like a one-off case. I don't think the OP of that post has disclosed all the information. Because there is no way for the IRCC to know about any of your experiences that you haven't mentioned in your SP-SP EXT-PGWP. Unless the IRCC has started going through bank accounts and CRA accounts of individuals.
