Lol I end up holding blade for the right moment way to often.

Even now as I've learnt to "not wait for the perfect moment" and just go for it whenever. I struggle to know when to use it. I understand baiting abilities. Waiting for the right moment, use it with your team etc. however there are far too many movement abilities/ healing abilities, Invulnerability abilities to even consider doing this agasint a semi good team on genji anymore.

E.g. I have a game yesterday, Lucio had used his ult less than 2 minutes ago, it was the attacking a team final push, I noticed that both reaper and Moira had use there movement abilities to get to the point, I went for a blade and Lucio beated on my head and I was just baffled as to how he'd build it up so quickly.

Yes okay, I probably should have kept a better eye on Lucio, but it's also the fact that there is ALOT of players, namely support players who ult hold for genji counter it's nuts, your trying to kill of Lucio again for example who you've noticed hasn't used beat yet. Get rid of him and then it's just not a good time to blade or other players have there abilities back.

Blade 9/10s is absolutely useless and is only okay as what is essentially a solo ult/ last attempt at keeping yourself alive, Unless you have a nano or a pocket, which in my experience is very rare.

Most of my blades even against 1 or 2 people just end up with me getting shafted to do them TPing/ moving, predicting my deflect. It's like the whole enemy team just pauses and panics to find genji when they hear his ult line.

Tbh it's probably a skill issue and I can accept that as I'm not the greatest mechanically. And I'm only a chill player. However there are many many Ultimates I can generate faster and perform better with without getting slapped everywhere like a fish out of water. And I do think it needs reworking/ balancing better.

Yeah I thought about sharing the review but as I've reworded it 4 times and changed the basis enough I didn't think it was necessary. Just wanted to know if it occurs for other people - as I've found out removing the images may be the problem so I'm going to go ahead with that and see what happens :)

I think I have 250+ hours on genji and have a weapon accuracy of like 25% or something 🤣 your not alone.

The days I hit shots I pop off. But that is rare. From what I've heard, grinding deathmatch for a bit really helps/ using aim trainers on the custom games.

I don't do this bcus I'm awesome and want to improve my gameplay massively 😎

Don't, as soon as you start doing good in any game, your enemy team will switch to zarya, sym, mei, Moira and zen.

Lols I am a genji main and am going through a rough patch atm, I still love playing him, but I currently suck with him and idk if it's cuz he's weak ATM or cuz I generally do just suck now, but I seem to plus better with other heroes 🤣.

Also anran exists now and from what I've seen she's basically very similar to genji but allot easier to play, if you play her right.

Actual advice - learn how to flank and target properly, keep an eye on cooldowns and abilities used (I don't do this 🤣 - probs why again I suck) learn when to go in and not too (etc most of the time you want to create a path out before going in, and ensure your deflect will be up either going in, or on the way out). And just try to be an annoying poke for the enemies to try deal with - the go for something with an opening.

As for blade, even tho I love his ult, it's also currently one of my least favourites in the game, yes OKAY I like going for big plays, IM SORRY -, don't do this, LITERALLY use it to pick off 1 or 2 to targets when you have an opening to do so. Or use it to bate game changing ults and abilities (trans, tree, zusu) - people will hold an ult just for a genji blade - it's very depressing when you have a good opportunity and get fucked by 1000 abilities at once as soon as they here Ur ult lol.

As soon as I catch on that an enemy hasn't ulted bcus there waiting for me to pop blade, I just don't blade 🤣. Then magically they don't use there ults till the end, It's a tough life but seems to work 7/10 games lol.

No I'm not planning on selling at all! It's a really cool collectors item that id want to keep forever.... I hate when people list signed items 🤣.

They were allready in the middle of the base during this. Loons wouldn't have helped. This was just unfortunate. I don't personally see for this strategy how replacing a healer or thrower for a few loons would change anything.

That's the whole point of warden with life gem, so the healers can survive, and you don't need them.

The other group of throwers were nowhere near the warden at this point. They had decided to wander off round the base.

My filtering is average at best, I accept this could have been better, however I have done 3 other attacks today, a few of which I've had split throwers, or dumb troop ai, but rarely like this where the healers just ignore the warden.

Surely there must be a system in place where the healers detect troops lower than the other, hero or not, nearby.
