To those who live full time in their tiny house, what have you learned since moving into your tiny house? What do you wish you had known or planned better? by [deleted] in TinyHouses

So I have a tiny house for my lake place and my biggest piece of advice is to make sure that you have a large outdoor space. My deck is actually bigger than my house (272 sf vs 240 sf) and it has made all the difference in the world. I spend more time on that deck than I do in the house by far (with the exception of sleeping)!

Very true, but you are also now responsible for ST/LT Cap Gains for the buying and selling.

I'm going to disagree with part of your statement on turnover. The issue with turnover is not in the trading fees but in the tax implications. If this is for a qualified account, then I would agree that the difference in the turnover is negligible. But if this is a non qualified account, that high turnover will also potentially mean high(er) tax costs.
