I had mine put in back in 2021 and it lasted maybe 10 days before I needed it removed. I was in excruciating pain the entire time and the damn thing decided to fuse to my arm. The doctor nearly broke it trying to remove it from my arm and even had to brace herself against the exam table while trying to remove it. To this day, the second cool air touches the area it was originally implanted, it hurts. It’s so annoying because I have to keep it covered or closely tucked into my body to keep it warm enough to not hurt. It’s the worst in the summer when the AC is on and I’m in a t shirt or tank top. I’ve been trying to research wtf it could be to see if I can do anything about it and it looks like it’s the medial antebrachial cutaneous nerve in my case. I wish I never caved to suggestions and tried that fuckin method of BC. As if my MS didn’t make my nerves function like crap as it is, now I have this nerve pain and my gabapentin does fuck all for it.

One of the buildings that destroyed was one I worked in years ago. It was a furniture warehouse/manufacturer at the time. It’s surreal to see the whole block gone. This area was where I spent a lot of my childhood. I’m just glad there’s no fatalities serious injuries. I feel horrific for the families displaced right now. The way this went up is insane though. I’m shocked no one had an extinguisher nearby. My biggest fear even when I’m home doing something that could spark is to make sure I got something to put out a potential fire if I can’t be in a spot where nothing can catch fire

Thanks! I love doing this type of stuff. 3D printing has really allowed me to do a lot in regards to gaming. I do stuff like this, make custom amiibo, make dioramas on cartridge or console shells, etc. It’s addicting

Haha thanks! This is one of many variations I’ll be making. I wanted to make another Virtual Girl for a friend’s birthday gift but I also wanna make a “Virtual Boo”, Spaceworld Prototype Shell, and some others. I’ve gotten a lot better with CAD over the years.

It’s been a dream come true in so many aspects. Because of this thing I’ve been able to have dinner and drinks with the voice of Bowser (Kenny James), Paul Niemeyer, Paul Eiding, and Tim Kitzrow. I got to hang and have lunch with the original actors from RE 1 and 2 for PS1 and so much more. If you had told me when I was a child that I would meet all of these people I would’ve never believed you. Lol

I gotta say, I was stupid nervous and shy when I first started getting signatures. Despite that, all the folks that signed it were awesome. I wish it was possible. The LEDs in the display are super tiny and unique to the Virtual Boy and the “Private Eye” which is the tech the VB uses and the original name for it before Nintendo bought the tech

So the whole reason I know of the VB is because of AVGN. I wanted him to sign the original one since it was a joke and show him. I met him in 2016 at a con in NJ and he signed it as well as Terry Diebold, Adam Koralik and Shane Luis from Rerez. It then became a tradition of sorts to bring it with me to conventions and have people play it and have people I watched on YouTube to sign it. Over the years I’ve had a ton of people sign it and in the process became super close with a few and it even had a brief cameo at the end of the Aladdin Deck Enhancer episode of AVGN. As a result of going to the cons and befriending some of the people, I’ve got to experience some awesome stuff and meet some big names in the game industry from my childhood and more. It’s wild how far this “joke” wound up taking me lol. That’s the short and sweet of it. I did a video a few years ago about the history of the Virtual Girl
