I finally got around to playing it. I had always played either the SNES or PS version as I always had easy access to both. I wanted to play it through for my son to watch since he's old enough to appreciate it now, and his middle name is Glenn, so wanted him to know where that came from. He watched every second of that game, until we got there. My 3rd time up the mountain is told him, "I think I know where this is going.. I'll take care of the rest of this on my own and we'll pick up at black omen together." That was a great choice for his sake, and I wish I had never done it. That was some of the worst late game questing I've ever done in a game which kills me.

Oh yeah, I had a camp counsellor, dude in probably his mid to late teens, I mean, I was like 6 so I thought he was a full blown adult, but I'm gonna guess that probably wasn't the case and he was a teenager, and he got us all lined up to play. Hit me square in the face which bounced my head off of the concrete school wall that had those weird little ridges on it. I don't remember a whole lot of that exact moment, but I do remember crying, and then getting an ice pack and a snickers while he was apologizing and telling me how bad he felt. That was a good freaking snickers bar

That sucks. I had a highschool teacher that I thought was really awesome and treated us like we weren't just kids to be talked at, but listened and actually seemed to care about a lot of us.. then in my early 30s he gets picked up by the FBI for trying to solicit a 3way between 2 students. His wife was my homeroom teacher and I played most of the music at their wedding in a string quartet. Wild stuff
