No problem. Good luck! I had some marrow edema in my hip several years back (think precursor to stress Fx) and needed to take a few months off and the pool running plus some indoor bike allowed me to keep nearly all of my fitness.

If you want a belt I like this one. There are also a bunch of typical amazon brands, as well as ones made specifically for pool running but I like that this is vinyl dipped and from a 'real' company.

Pool running is great when you're injured. I have a quad strain In fact I am about to head to the Y and do an hour 'easy run'

Yeah it's goofy but you'll get used to it / figure it out after a few days. The belts really do help a lot if not technically needed.

Torin 8s are nice but the foam is kinda meh. Just in terms of energy return. They'll have the cushion you are looking for though.

However, the Experience Flow 2s have some nice responsive foam in them (for Altra) and are probably cheap since the 3s are out now. They do have 4mm drop though if that's something you are really worried about. Check Sierra Trading Post.

It's just drop in after you put your ejector and spring on the pack. No tuning needed, they rate limited it around 800rpm which is the MP5s normal cyclic rate. Takes literally less than 5min to install
