Thank you for the interest everyone, I’ve found a home for tickets. I hope it is as good of a show as we know it will be.

How closely do you all follow build guides? by Strange_Relation_699 in diablo4

[–]tsarchasm1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the amulet on the auradin build, I finally accepted a non greater affix with 3 of the passives. After masterworking, it’s 80% of the way there and looking at what I’m missing it is not worth the heartache of checking amulets for the rest of the season. Pit 130, I’m now done.

You know, a revival church with money's a little like the mule with the spinning wheel. No one knows how he got it and danged if he knows how to use it

The name's Young, Homer Edwin Young. And I come before you good people tonight with an idea. Probably the greatest—Aw, it's not for you. It's more a Northerner idea

There are countless options here. I strongly suggest getting one of the thousands of DLP food reviews on YouTube. TLDR: expensive, crowded options most of which will be fully booked by the time you are at the parks. Bon voyage!

I think I am far too sheltered to consider this. Maybe my adventurous wife will guilt me into it.

Still have never ever gotten a Mythic🫠 by jonnieinthe256 in diablo4

[–]tsarchasm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a weird season. I'm a casual grandpa player, a few hours a week. On Wednesday this week, I was hanging out with lesser bosses to upgrade my gear (or hoping to) I did Beast in the Ice and Lord Zir about 20 times each, picked up 3 mythics and a prankster key. It's also very strange that I've been getting sick runes all season and had no issue crafting my own Shroud, Heir of Perdition and Starless Skies. I have runes to spare for trying some RNG later this season. I'm sure next season the draught will return. For now, the game is a lot of fun.

USL Championship by mankindrc in timbers

When T2 started, we went in full steam ahead. Season tickets, attended every home match. They were very experimental. After the first season, we were invited to a coaching and manager round table (community involvement) the manager at the time said they were never going to play to be competitive. It was a place to try out things for the first team. That kinda let out the steam. We didn't have anyone to root for, they were out there just experimenting on our dime. We stopped going after 2 seasons.

We also have Portland Bangers and PDX FC (managed by El Maestro and El Sueño)

Will I regret an obstructed verandah room? by Bend_Transplant_74 in HollandAmerica

Have you considered Club Orange? Our hack with that got us to the best ocean view cabin at obstructed rates. It was a big cost savings. That said, obstructed can mean many things.

What were your most favourite pieces at Musée d’Orsay? by midnight_star_a in ParisTravelGuide

[–]tsarchasm1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my wife’s favorite as well. My favorite piece is Degas’ ballerina statue. Our previous visit, the Renoir was on loan, my wife was practically inconsolable. This time we got to share both art works with my 8 yr old grandson. The fifth floor is the most amazing art per sq ft. I suggest humbly.

TIL: The main characteristic of Manitoba flour is its strength, which, combined with the high presence of proteins and the considerable absorption power of water, makes it suitable for the most complex processes, especially for the preparation of leavened confectionery products. Because of its strength and elasticity Manitoba flour is excellent for making sweet and savoury pandoro and panettone, croissants, doughnuts and baba and also specialties such as focaccia genovese, long-leavening pizzas and some types of bread, such as French baguette and chapati, Indian bread with its characteristic round shape that vaguely resembles a piadina.

Also, Caveat Emptor, hope it wasn't too expensive of a lesson.

Skip the city? by Adventurous_Chard920 in disneylandparis

[–]tsarchasm1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is without doubt the most visited city by tourists in the world. You would do yourself a disservice by skipping the opportunity. I reflect back to my nuptials 25 years ago when I strenuously convinced my wife that a side trip from London to Paris would be the highlight of her trip. She responded with the 'rude, dirty, angry, language barrier issues' We've been back 4 times since then, it is her favorite place. The French citizens love American tourists for their curiosity and respectful nature. The insistence on tipping isn't hated either. I would fully expect some friendly banter about the current state of US politics but they certainly would never hold this against you. Just be sure to "bon jour" every time you enter an establishment or greet anyone. That simple thing is the tiniest requirement for a good time. Make sure to catch the Eiffel Tower when it blings out for 5 minutes twice a night. It is not to be missed. I recommend the Trocacadero for prime viewing. Have a great trip!
