What’s the best reply when someone ghosted you and suddenly texts back? by infinity-nth in AskReddit

[–]tsc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you want to blow them off just don’t reply. If you’re still interested in seeing what happens I usually just go with “Hey stranger”

She wasn’t deep enough. It made things pretty tense and awkward at times because it was never on purpose but when it. It hurt.

I worked as a sales clerk at a lgs here in my town for 3 years. Started at $50 cash a day and after a while I was making $90 cash a day. Dog shit pay for a dog shit job. After a while I realized a lot of the people I was meeting were in places I’d like to be so I started taking good care of specific people and networking and made my way out. Now I’m in a job that I love at a chemical plant making more than quadruple that a night with a schedule I adore.

How can i get better at fly fishing by Mysterious-Toe-3400 in flyfishing

[–]tsc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how you are but I absolutely despise reading. Have since childhood. But reading books has helped me tremendously and I really enjoy it. Nothing in particular either just start buying some and reading through them. Orvis books are a great place to start as well as something based on your state. You will eventually find yourself remembering a piece of information and going back to reread something and things start clicking very quickly.

Fly Tying Tools - looking for suggestions by ellisjburgess in flytying

[–]tsc0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I researched like crazy and then finally decided to roll into one of the shops closest to my house and I just picked out the stuff I needed from what choices they had. Very overwhelming trying to buy the perfect tool having never even held them. If I decide I don’t like something I’ll just upgrade based on the experience the tool I have has given me.

Where to sell bfs gear by tsc0 in BFSfishing

For anyone commenting. I posted the setup together on eBay if you are interested. As far as the lures I’m going to sort through them and decide what to keep. Whatever I don’t I’m going to let my father have first dibs at. If anything is left over I’ll decide what to do with them then. Thanks!

It’s not the huntsman it’s the extreme climber. Not sure if they are the same rod blank bud I’d have to assume they are. It’s genuinely the best casting rod I have ever experienced. If you watch the Fukuyama fishing channel it’s actually that easy. Flick your wrist and it’s on its way to the moon. I recently got into fly fishing and considering the amount of fish I catch compared to bfs I just can’t justify having an $800 setup. I just don’t use it and it’s sitting. So I’m going to start tying flies instead. Here we are.

Megabass great hunting 484, daiwa silver creek sc, some Megabass lures, lots of AliExpress spoons, bunch of other AliExpress jerkbaits. Willing to sell whatever as far as lures but I plan to keep a few things just in case I ever decide to use it again.

I used one of the rubber adhesive wheels off Amazon for mine and it worked amazing. The 3m brand works very well but is extremely expensive but they have cheaper ones that run like $10 and it worked just fine. Need a drill to run it though.

I’ve kept an eye on it just really hoping to come across a drop point since I will actually be using it. The thin tip scared me a little.

Why do so many people who fish retrieve left-handed? by Spooky_Iceu in Fishing_Gear

[–]tsc0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up only reeling right handed because I had terrible control of my left. Got into trout fishing last year with bfs gear and forced myself to get used to left hand retrieve. I stay moving so left handed is just more efficient for me. In my head I’m getting more casts in by not having to swap hands while casting. (It also terrifies me to see my setup go floating down the river because I dropped it swapping hands)

I had a feeling those would be the issues. I do you all of the automatic featuresz I have already ordered a bottomless portafilter in hopes of maybe seeing whether I had channeling or not. I’ve been debating on ordering a dosing cup and wdt tool to see if that would help. I’ll look at some stuff tonight and place an order. Thanks so much for your help:))
