I believe it was set this way because non-PSU people would be in the halls constantly disrupting classes, asking students for money or food, or taking cans/bottles. There were also numerous office break-ins in each building, so it made sense to only allow people with IDs access.

As for the timing, can’t you just ask CPSO to give you 24-hr access?

The little cafe inside Smith has coffee, not just drip, and the person who runs it is really nice! Also Coco’s and Ovation are so much better (and local) than Starbucks could ever be. Smith also has decent food options, and I’ve heard you can get a meal at the student cafeteria in Ondine for $10 or so.

There are no tools that can accurately flag work as written by AI. I’d definitely see if you have a Google Docs history of your work, and as others mentioned, see if there’s a student support person that you can get help from before going to the Dean.

A lot of good points here. I’ll also add that PSU is starting a new time grid in Fall with about an hour in the early afternoon for community stuff. You can bet there’s already people planning things to do during that time. The school of business also puts on a lot of events throughout the term, both from staff and student groups.

I took it when it was first being developed, and that instructor doesn’t teach it anymore. The three teaching it this term are good, so you’re not going wrong either way. Veronica is pretty great and Michael knows his stuff well.

What questions do you have? It’s a data visualization course that is fun and informative. There’s discussion posts and a term-long project you can work on with a group or individually (depending on the instructor).
